"All I Care About Is Being The Best...Right?"

This one-shot is apart of a trade that I am doing with them.

Katsuki Bakugou cared about one thing and one thing only that was to become the number #1 Pro-Hero.

This goal often caused him to forget about or push away things and people that he cared about and one of these people was a close friend of his another young future hero named Zandra.

Most couldn't believe that Katsuki was friends with her or even got along with her because she was the exact opposite of him being a kind and thoughtful person.

It was no secret to most that Katsuki wasn't exactly a nice guy because he was willing to go to any lengths to get what he desired.

So it came as a absolute surprise to most to notice that Katsuki seemingly cared for Zandra with her it seemed that a softer side of him was shown one that normally would never see the light of day.

Now at the current time Katsuki was finishing his last training session of the day and was heading back towards class 1-A's shared dorm home.

Though this resulted in him running right into Zandra who seemed like she had been in a hurry causing her to fall to the ground.

Katsuki after recovering from the slight shock of the impact bent down helping her up as he realized who had run into him.
"Zandra, where are you off to in such a hurry? Had I of been anyone else you might have been in trouble" he grumbled out.

Zandra dusted herself off as her cheeks tinted a faint pink color due to the embarrassment of what had just happened.
"I was actually on my way to see you" she said the embarrassment in her voice very obvious.

Katsuki seemed a little surprised by this she had been coming to see him?
That didn't exactly explain why she was in such a hurry after all they could always see each other anytime.
"You were in a hurry because of that? We can always see each other so what's up?" He questioned

Zandra suddenly realized that she felt nervous because the reason she had come to see Katsuki was to confess her feelings to him, feelings that she had been keeping hidden though to most others it was obvious.
"Well..." She began only to end up being surprised when she was cut off

Katsuki had cut her talking off when he noticed that she was very obviously nervous about something, normally he wouldn't give a damn but this was Zandra so he cared.
"Why are you nervous? What's wrong?" He questioned her though he felt his blood begin to boil a bit had someone messed with her?

No surely no one could be stupid enough to mess with her after all she had Katsuki backing her up that was enough to scare most away so it couldn't be that.

Zandra noticing the look Katsuki's eyes now held realized that she better dissolve the situation before he ended up losing his temper.
"Nothing is wrong Katsuki, I'm nervous because...I want to tell you something important" she said beginning to fiddle with her hands a bit.

Katsuki's eyes went from showing anger to confusion and his face mirrored that confusion
"Something important? What could be so important that it's got you so nervous?" He asked though now he was a bit worried.

Zandra took a deep breath as a deep and very obvious flush came rushing to her cheeks, now was the time to tell him how she felt.
"Katsuki the reason I'm so nervous is because I've always had feelings for you...feelings that at first I believed would go away but they never did they only grew stronger...what I'm trying to say is I love you" she let out the deep breath she had been holding in the nervousness that she had felt before was beginning to fade away now that she had confessed.

Katsuki upon hearing her confession felt his cheeks tint a faint pink color, he had never expected that the nervousness might be because of something like that.
"I don't see how you could love me, I'm cruel and only care about becoming the best above all others but now I want to rise above all the others and become the best with you...I've always had feelings for you too Zandra...I love you too" he mumbled though he was obviously very embarrassed.

Zandra upon hearing this felt a smile form on her lips though she walked closer to Katsuki leaning up and kissing his cheek.
"I'll happily be the best right by your side" she said softly.
