-the foundation didn't realize how powerful the kwamis were when they first took Marinette in, but after Marinette's encounter with Able, that changed.
-Long story short, Able breached containment, found Marinette, tried to kill her, Kwamis went ballistic, everyone (Marinette and Able included) got at least a little traumatized.
-Ever since that day, Marinette was classified as Thaumiel, and Able avoids her when he can.
-Marinette also kind of pities Able. She pities his inability to feel anything but rage and murderous intent.
-Able is unaware of how Marinette feels about him, he just wants to stay far away from the girl and her mini-gods.
