AN: Hi all! Finally coming back to this piece after 8 MONTHS! I know its been a long time, but I'm back and ready to write! Let me know what you think of the chapter.
-----------
*Midorya POV*
That night, as I layed in bed, I contemplated what I had done.
*Flashback*
"Perfect. You start tomorrow. Before you leave, I will have you fitted for a uniform. It will be ready tomorrow when you get here at 9:00 sharp. Do not be late," Kacchan said seriously. His ruby eyes stared deep into my soul, causing me to shiver and slight blush at his intenseness.
"Yes sir," I said quietly.
He then waved his hand towards the door. "Now get out, you've wasted enough of my time."
I quickly stood up and rushed out the door. The nice woman, Melissa, took my measurements and then allowed me to leave. I practically ran home.
*Real time*
Recounting the day's events, I muttered to myself, "I hope this is what's right. What's best." I fell asleep thinking about my mother. Hopefully, I can save her.
------------
The next morning I wake up earlier than I needed. It was 6:00. I barely slept. I couldn't stop thinking about what Kacchan had said. "Every command means what it means. You'll have to wait for them to come." What could that mean?
I layed in bed another hour before forcing myself up. After a quick shower and breakfast, I was ready with time left. I decided to call my mom.
Two rings later, she answered.
"Izuku, my sweet boy!" my mother said quietly, but enthusiastically. I knew she was excited to hear from me, but her strength was so low.
"Hi mom!" I forced back, trying to sound happy. "I start today at Kacchan's agency."
I heard a slight sigh from the other end. "You don't have to take the job, sweetie," my mother said sadly. "I...I know he was harsh to you in the past. I don't want to force..."
"No mom! Its okay!" I interrupted. "He's changed! Our meeting went really well," I lied.
She must have believed me, because she didn't question it again. We spoke for a few minutes more before I had to leave. "I promise, I'll be able to save you," I declared to her.
"I know, Izuku. You'll always be my hero."

I know that was a short chapter, but I will be posting more frequently, so expect lots more story to come!
