Those Yellow Eyes (Korekiyo x Reader Fanfiction)

Awaken

Hi! This is my first time ever writing a fan fiction and I will try my best please let me know how I am doing! I will also be down to do other danganronpa characters along the way just let me know! I also was thinking about doing one where they are at an actual school and they DONT have to kill. Please let me know how that sounds! Alright I'll write now :)

I jump awake only to feel coldness all around me. Where am I? I thought in my mind. I look around only to realize...I'm in a locker? I start to pull the handle in panic just so I can escape the small space. It won't budge. I use all my body force and fly out the locker, hitting my head on the floor on the way down. "Ow!" I yell out loud.
I look around just to find out my vision is blurry. Once my eyes adjust I could see I was in a classroom. I got up to look around, only to hear someone else in a locker I turn and stare, panicked. But only a boy scrambled out? I jump back confused, he wore an outfit that gave me base ball player 1990 vibes. He got onto his feet and stared at me. It was really awkward so I decided to introduce myself. "Uh hi." I gave a small wave.
Only to get in return "Who they hell are you! Where am I!?" He said pointing at me.
I jump back scared from his voice. "Huh you expect me to know!? I have no clue where I am either!" I yell defending myself.
He calms down after that. "I-I'm sorry I just panicked."
I nod showing that I forgive him. "The last thing I remember was going to Hopes Peak Academy, everything else is so...blurry." He says quietly.
I turn back to him very quickly "Wait! The same happened to me." I practically yelled from shock.
His eyes grew wide. "Something doesn't feel right...oh! How rude of me, I never introduced myself. My name is Shuichi Saihara, I am the ultimate detective. And you are?" Shuichi asked.
"Oh I am F/N L/N, the ultimate poet."
Shuichi nods his head. "We have to get out of here." Shuichi says walking to the door.
I follow, only to be met with a huge robot as soon as the doors open. I was frozen with fear unable to move. Shuichi grabs my wrist and screams "RUN!!"
I instantly snapped back into reality running towards the other door, my adrenaline was going so fast I didn't know what was going on around me. All I did was follow Shuichi. Before I knew it we ran into the room titled 'Gym' we practically flew threw the doors basically on top of each other. We look up only to realize we were met with other eyes. "Guys more people came!" Someone shouted.
There were so many people it seemed. We got up and looked around. "What is this place?" I asked.
"We have no clue we all just ended up in the same place." A boy with purple spiked up hair said.
We all just stayed silent not knowing what to do, until...those robots came clashing through the doors once more but this time there was more than one. "Shit! These things again!" Someone screamed.
They stopped and small bears jumped out of them. What's is this some kind of circus?! The red one was yelling at us all to shut up while the pink on said something terrifying. "You will have to kill each other if you wanna be let out, but here's the catch. You have to get away with it!" The bears laughed.
I felt sick to my stomach. "Just as I thought." A guy with green hair said.
"You should get to know each other, you never know who you'll be up against!" A blue one said then they all disappeared.
My legs were trembling. Shuichi looked at me, "Don't be scared, I don't think anyone here would do such a thing but I'm gonna go talk to the others you should as well." And with that he walked off.
I didn't even know what to do, I started scanning everyone and then I saw him, a tall slender man with long hair and...a mask covering his face? I walk up to him curious of who he is and he looks down at me. "Hi." I say giving a small wave.
He just stares at me and says nothing back. I go to walk away filled with embarrassment when I hear a slight 'Hello'. I turn right back around "Oh! For some reason I thought you could talk."
He's now facing me looking down at me. "No I just wanted to see your reaction to silence." He said bluntly.
"Ah makes sense I guess ha~. But I'm F/N L/N, the ultimate poet and you?" I ask him.
"Name is Korekiyo Shinguji, I am called the ultimate Anthropologist." Korekiyo announced loudly.
I stare blankly having no clue what that even is. He gives me this sort of...glance that you can tell he's waiting for a response. "I'm guessing you don't know what Anthropology is hm?" He says leaning close to you.
"I-I honestly don't know, please explain." I laugh slightly embarrassed.
"Your wish is my desire, I don't know how to explain it without making you more confused then you already are, but a brief explanation is the study of humans and their emotions you see?" Korekiyo explained.
I give a thumbs up not sure of what to say. "What do you write about since your a poet?" He asked.
"Oh I typically write about emotions how one can feel but make a story out of it if that makes any sense." I say quickly.
Korekiyo nods. "Interesting." He says under his breath.
"Well-do you want to come meet the others with me?" I say breaking the silence.
"I have no desire of meeting the others but I shall join you." Korekiyo says, you could tell he was smiling under his mask from the way his eyes went.
We both walked down the long hallway in silence. I needed to break the silence. "So uhm- I get if this is personal but uh why do you wear the mask?"
He stops right in front of me, our faces practically touching. "Don't ask questions you don't want the answer to." He said whispering in my ear and walked ahead of me.
I need to know more about Korekiyo.

AHH I finally finished please let me know if this is good I'll try to update this as much as possible! And please feel free to give me other danganronpa characters to write about :) if I don't update for awhile it's most likely that I got my phone taken :( but I will try my best to update!! Also please tell me if there are any grammar mistakes I tried to make sure there aren't any but it's currently 6:21 AM and I have yet to sleep :D
