Madiliene actually came out of her wing and talked to me today. Today is Christmas Eve. Today, I learned how friggin hard it is to hide a cat from your PA, that lives with you and surprisingly hadnt heard any mewling. We ate Chinese because I didnt prepare a ham, but Madiliene was fine with that. We binged a couple shows on Netflix. We actually talked and it was really nice. Around midnight I went a grabbed the cat and he was surprisingly quiet. "Miss Madiliene?" "Sir?" "Call me Dylan." "Then call me Madiliene, or Madi, or M. No miss." "Mali?" "Works. Yes, Dylan?" "I got you a gift." Mali huffed because she told me that we weren't going to do gifts. "I actually have a question and the gift." "Okay. Whats up?" "Ummm." "Spit it out Dylan. Dont hurt yourself." "SO like, would you like to go out to dinner sometime?" "Like a date?" "Uhhh, yeah." "Sure." I was sort of taken aback when she agreed. "How about when work is normal?" I nodded and handed over the blanket covered cage. "I will open this if you accept mine." I nodded again because I still couldn't speak.
"YOU DIDNT!!" "But I did." "Thank you so much, Dylan! What should we name him?" I responded bluntly with, "Your cat. You name it." "His name will be Dyl!" Being the dumb guy, I had to ask,"Like Dill Pickles?" Mali socked me in the shoulder before responding, "No. Like Dylan without the a-n. He is named after you. She grabbed the cat, snuggled him against her, and then continued.
