"Time to get up sunshine, wakey wakey."

I groaned and turned over lying on my other side.

"Two minutes." I mumbled

"Wake up Scar, we are gonna be late for school. " I heard my best friend, Alec say.

"Go away." I buried my face in my pillow trying to catch more sleep.

"Fine, I will do it my way."

Suddenly, the blanket was yanked off body making me fall off the bed and land on my butt with a thud. Alec's loud rumbling laugh filling the room.

"Alec, you are so dead." I shrieked as I got off the floor jumping on his back, hitting him several times with my fists.

He let out a high pitched shrill scream.
"Geez Scar, get off me." He whined muttering incoherent words.

"You deserve this."I said as I landed a heavy punch to his back.

"Oomph, I'm sorry ok?"He begged.

"You better be."I murmured as I got down from his back, flipping my hair backwards.

"You are so aggressive. "Alec muttered reaching his hand over to his back. I knew I must have hurt his back but he deserves it.My butt hurts too. He knows I am not a morning person. I am always as grumpy as a bear whenever I wake up early.

I stuck out my tongue at him.

"What are you, five? "Alec chuckled.
I thought of a good comeback but didn't seem to come up with any.

"Shut up." I replied. It was a lame comeback but you wouldn't blame me. Waking up by 7:00am does that to me.

Alec let out a fit of laughter obviously mocking me. I flipped him the bird as I turned around. Grabbing my fluffy white towel, I made my way towards my bathroom was connected to my bedroom.

"Be down in five, Scar. I would be making breakfast." Alec said as he made his way out of my room. His footsteps echoing as he walked.

Alec had been my bestfriend since I was four. He was like a brother. A really close brother. He listens to me, protects me, defends me when I can't. He knows when things aren't right, knows my feelings, emotions and reactions.  I think he knows me better than anyone does. He is so special to me.

I got out of my pyjamas and climbed into the shower. I did a quick rinse to the skin. Grabbing my strawberry scented shampoo, I squirted a little on my palm working it into my jet black hair. Rinsing it off, I began washing my body.

"Hurry up Scar,we are gonna be late." I heard Alec call from downstairs.

I rolled my eyes even though I knew he couldn't see me. We still have like an hour to get ready since Hiddenville High School opens by 8:05am.

"Almost done."I called back rinsing off the shampoo and soap off my body. I stepped out of the shower and dried my body and hair with the towel. I wasn't going to blow-dry my hair today. I was going to let my hair dry naturally. I quickly brushed my teeth.

Wrapping the damp towel around my body, I left the bathroom and headed towards my closet. I pulled on a baggy blue jeans and an comfy white t-shirt, my regular clothing. I hated dresses and skirts. They made me uncomfortable. They kind of restrain me and make me very careful of how I sit and walk. I couldn't tell the last time I wore one. Even though my mom buys me a dress  every Christmas, I never wear them.

I slipped on a white converse to match. I brushed through my long  brown hair. I didn't bother applying makeup. I prefer my face makeup free. I put her hair in a high ponytail before I looked at myself in the mirror. Hazel eyes staring back at me. Eyes that I got from my father.
