"Hi girl.. Are you alone?" a guy greeted Miyeon while she drink her vodka on the bar.

She didn't even bother to look at the guy. She only focused with the bartender girl. Watching her working and moving around.

The guy then slowly move his hand to Miyeon's waist. Miyeon were about to push the guy hand away but she stop as the  bartender girl already holds the guy hand to stop him.

"Animal are not allowed in here sir" said the girl and let off her hand from the guy.

"Woah, you're so mean baby girl. Where's the manager?!" The guy said with a serious tone.

The girl then smirk. "I'm the manager! Is there any problem?"

"You? You don't deserve the title ms! What kind of bar is this?!"

The girl rose her eyebrows, "Normal bar as you can see. If you want to made more trouble, please leave! Or I call the police!" she then point at the CCTV on the corner.

(flashback)-2 years ago

"Miyeon my dear, have you already get yourself a friend?" Mr. Jo asking his daughter while cut his steak. Miyeon put her spoon down and wipe her lips with a napkin.

"We should not trust people easily. I'm happy with my own life now"

"But that doesn't mean you can live the way you are till you death. How we really wish you can able to speak with someone and make a friend. Now I regret for home-schooling you" Her dad reply.

"Whatever dad" Miyeon stand up and were about to leave the dining room but she stop after her dad continue say, "No more excuse, next week we all go to my friend's resort in Thailand"

Miyeon heave out a sigh and face-palming. She then turn her body to look at her dad. "For real? Do whatever you want. It's not gonna stop me from not having a friend. And it's a trip so why not? Dad don't worry, I still have you guys. I love you, you know that." 
Miyeon leave the dining room, left her dad in disbelief.

"Give her some more time honey" Mrs. Jo said to her husband and caress his arm.

Mr.Jo shook his head, "It's been a long time.
What if we die first, we ain't young now. She will be alone for the rest of her life"

The both heave a deep sigh. Worrying about their only daughter. They don't have any relatives to give Miyeon's a cousin or else.

The three just step out from the car that had been told to pick them up from the airport.

(Miyeon's POV)

"Welcome to Thailand my friend!" an old man greeting my dad and hugging as they already miss one another.
It's not even a resort for me. It's pretty much like my house. A mansion to be exactly.

"This must be your daughter and your wife. Do come in, we continue talk in the  inside" the old man continue and give us a space to walk enter the house.

He told his maids to send our luggage to the guest room and mine in his daughter's.

Nothing different with my home. Same big, same color, the same number of maids, everything were almost same.

Totally far with a resort. Does my father lied to me?

Few seconds later a maid serve us a hot drink. She put each cup on the table infront of us.

"Bring this young lady to Nicha's room. She need to get used with it" the old man tell the maid after she done serve the cups.

"Go on Miyeon-ah, go look your room now" dad also told me to leave.
Well of course, whenever parents talk, children are not allowed to listen. That's what I'd been taught since I was kid.
