I waddle into the kitchen as Harry cooked dinner. "Are you alright?" Harry asked. "Yeah, smelt good so I thought I'd come to see what you're cooking," I said. "Pasta, one of the easiest things to cook," he said. "Because you don't have to use the oven, babe," I said. "Exactly," he said. I sat down at the kitchen table. "Are you alright?" Harry asked. "Tiring," I said. "Did you want a bath after dinner?" Harry asked. "Will join me?" I asked. "The bath hardly fits you and your bump, I will sit at the side but there is no way I will fit in there," he said. "Fine, I can't wait for when we can do these things again," I said. "Although, we will have a baby in the house," Harry said. "We have parents, and your sister is excited to babysit," I said. We had dinner then went upstairs. I got undressed and wrapped a towel around my body while Harry ran the bath. I leant against the counter. Harry walked over and started rubbing circles on my back. "You alright?" he asked. "Just back pains," I said. The bath really helped with the pain in my back. And it was just really nice to lie down and relax. I got out and put on shorts and a top. I sat down on the bed and started rubbing my stomach. Harry sat down next to me. "Are you alright, darling?" he asked. "I'm in a lot of pain," I said. The feeling disappeared. "Ok, it's gone," I said. "Are you sure?" he asked. "Yeah," I said. "Are you sure it wasn't just a kick?" Harry asked. "I've been experiencing kicks for the last 3 months, don't you think I would've known," I said. "It was just a suggestion," he said. After like 20 minutes, the same pain came back. I breathed deeply until it went. We laid down and fell asleep almost straight away. I woke maybe half an hour later. I was just in like a puddle in the bed. "Harry," I said immediately. "Yeah," he mumbled, half-asleep. "My waters broke," I said. I have never seen Harry get up so fast. If I wasn't in pain, I would've burst out laughing. Harry called the hospital while I got a bag ready. I had to pack loads of things. It was like packing for a big sleepover, for me, Harry, baby and not knowing how many days I was saying there. Harry rushed in. "Ok, I called the hospital, we have to go when your contractions are 5 minutes apart. And I called, your parents, my parents and Gemma" he said. Harry was so panicked. "Ok, just calm down a bit," I said. He laid down and put his knees up. "Couldn't of baby waited until the morning," Harry said. "I don't think she chooses, babe," I said. "But like... I'm tired," he said. I burst out into laughter. "Ok, you can stay here and sleep and I'll go to the hospital alone and have this baby without you," I said. "No, this is our baby, I will be there, I'm just tired and when she turns 3 and starts getting grouchy because she's tired I'll tell her what I went through," he said. "Help me up?" I asked. He stood up and pulled me off the floor. "I'm about to push a human out of me, I think your exhaustion will be fine," I said. He smiled and placed a kiss on my lips. We waited till my contractions were 5 minutes apart. We rushed to the hospital and were taken to a private, labour room. I got changed into the hospital gown and sat down on the bed. "Haz, can you pass me my hairbrush, it's in the bag?" I asked. "Yeah," he said. He searched through. "This top doesn't fit me anymore," Harry said, lifting one out. "I didn't know, it fits me, or it did before," I said. He passed over my hairbrush. I ran it through my hair then laid down. "The point of that?" Harry asked. "No point, just can," I said. I spent hours in labour, cold, eating ice and going through contractions. It was pretty boring. I did some work though. And my parents arrived. They had to wait outside while I was fully dilated. It was time
