I am the Gravewalker
A friend to the friendless
Ever surrounded by the peaceful
Caring for their homes
Flowers are placed
Stray branches cleared
Headstones scrubbed
And beds swept
I make my way
Dancing through the rows
Carefully avoiding treading
On the eternally sleeping
They are at rest
But I can still sense them
They comfort me
I feel their gentle presences
I care for them
And they, for me

Also, I went to visit my great aunt the other day (I didn't even get to go to her funeral), which is what the next couple poems are inspired by. So don't freak out that I was writing obsessivly about cemeteries.
