We all arrived at the restaurant and took our seats. Irene and Wonho sat across from me and Taehyung, while Chaeyoung and Jisoo sat on opposite ends of the table. I was expecting it to be slightly awkward, but the chatter filled the table instantly and it was quite nice.
Chaeyoung told us stories on how her and Jisoo were bestfriends since they were little. Jisoo giggled as she told the story of Chaeyoung falling off the monkey bars when they were ten. That's actually how she broke her pinky and it's still kind of crooked.
"So... Taehyung, how long have you and Y/n been together?" Jisoo asked him.
I could feel Irene staring at me in confusion and I just kept my head down wondering what Tae was going to say.
"We actually aren't together yet, but I'm working on it." Taehyung says confident in his answer.
"Well good luck Taehyung. This one is a hard nut to crack." Irene tells him. I look up at her in shock and she just gives me a smile.
I was so happy she wasn't upset, I was scared she wasn't going to approve or if she didn't want her bestfriend being with her brother.
The waiter comes up to the table and takes our orders. Irene gets a chicken salad, Chaeyoung a bowl of soup, Jisoo alfredo, Taehyung ribs, Wonho a juicy stake, and I order a plate of scrimp scampi.
We keep the chatter going until our food comes. Everyone goes a little quiet enjoying their meals.
"THIS SHRIMP SCAMPI IS GOOD." You exclaim loudly mouth full of food.
Taehyung holds his mouth open, waiting for you to feed him some of your food. You roll your eyes and fork some of your scampi into his mouth.
"Y/n is right! This shrimp scampi is delicious." Taehyung says with his mouth full also.
"I want to try the shrimp scampi too." Irene pouts.
You fork a some of it into her mouth and she hums in delight. Next thing you know, Wonho is holding his mouth open along with Jisoo.
"I think I'm going to have to order some shrimp scampi." Irene says eyeing your food after finishing her bite you gave her.
"Irene is onto something. That shrimp scampi was great." Jisoo agrees with her.
"I want some more shrimp scampi please, Y/n." Wonho pouts.
"HOW MANY TIMES ARE YOU GUYS GOING TO SAY SHRIMP SCAMPI?" Chaeyoung says loudly.
The whole restaurant looks over to our table and we lower our heads in embarrassment. We all mutter out a small sorry and the manager sends us a dirty look. Once everyone has gone back to their meals, you all bust out laughing.
A noodle makes it's way out of Taehyung's nose, which caused you to laugh even larder. Your cheeks began to hurt from laughing so hard. The manager comes over with to-go boxes and tells you guys that you have to leave.
After packing up your food and splitting the bill, you all walk out of the restaurant, smiles clear on your faces. Joking the whole way back to the hotel, everyone makes their way to their rooms.
You and Taehyung got to your room and changed out of your formal clothes. You put on some fuzzy pants and a strap less shirt and get into your bed. Taehyung takes off his shirt and slides on some fuzzy pants.
Taehyung makes his way into your bed. You press a soft kiss on his lips before falling asleep in the large arms of your soon to be man.
"Goodnight my baby."
