Emily wakes up to the sun blaring in her face through her bedroom window. Her cat had gone and went to sleep on small chair where she rested her coat from last night. Emily's Bed was a mess from the constant tossing and turning throughout the night.
Her eyes fluttered open and she stretched in place. Her dreams were peaceful, despite the events the night before. She dreamt of the finer things in life, rather then the horrid negative things that keep a person awake. Didn't explain her constant tossing and turning, probably just too hot from all the blankets.
Kiwi jumped up on the bed and yawned. Also causing Emily to yawn and stretch one more good time before shooting up out of bed to start her day. Kiwi looked up at Emily and she smiled, "you're so cute kiwi." She pet her cat, soft fur against the palm of her hand.
She walked out to the hall and into the bathroom to brush her teeth. She hated the taste in her mouth. Every day, first thing she'd do is brush her teeth. Always has to rinse her mouth out and spit. Sometimes she flosses but not always, only when she was really feeling up to it.
Her hair was thick, so a comb wasn't always her first option, but she wanted to take a shower so she turned on the hot water and waited. The steam started to fill the room rather quickly and she undressed herself before stepping in. Feeling the sensation of the water hit her skin, she enjoyed a shower.
Shampooing her hair first and rinsing, then Conditioner, she waited. Letting the chemicals and soap do it's job, she grabbed her sponge and washed her body before rinsing the rest of her hair out. Shutting off the water she stepped out and dried off.
She never blow dried her hair just wasn't the type of thing she did, especially with her hair being so thick it was better for it to air dry. Her normal style after getting out the shower was just to grab one of her many scrunchies and put it in a pony tail. That way it'd curl better while it air dried.
Stepping out the bathroom, letting the steam follow with her, she walked back to her room to get dressed. Opening her beautiful closet mirror doors was greeted by a spread of clothes, shoes and purses. Emily loved fashion, it was one of her many passions though pursuing a career in it didn't seem likely.
Picking out a pair of black high-waisted jeans she threw them on her chairs arm rest. Going through many different shirts and jackets decided a floral top that'd she tie a knot up in the front. It was the type of shirt that ties around your neck instead of spaghetti straps on your shoulders. Black with different colored flowers printed all around, with her bright blue coat to go along with it. A pair of black booties to complete the outfit along with her light pink purse.
She smiled brightly but hesitated to get dressed and start her day. She wanted to at least put on a cup of coffee or tea.
Walking out into the hall way towards the kitchen, her stomach rumbled at the thought of food, cereal perhaps or toast. Tea was her go to, but coffee seemed more fit for this morning so she instantly walked over to the coffee maker and cleaned out the pot. Filling it with water and dumping it into the dispenser, the coffee filter also needed to be rinsed out and filled with fresh coffee grounds.
Clicking the 'ON' button on the machine, it started to brew. The smell filling the atmosphere like a candle, it was refreshing, especially first thing in the morning. Toast was the option she went with, something fast and easy so she grabbed two pieces out the bread cupboard and threw them in the toaster for two minutes.
She had fresh fruit in a bowl on the kitchen table, so grabbing a small orange and started walking outside to grab the newspaper. It normally came around 9:30 and it was just breaking 10am now.
When she opened the door and leaned down she couldn't help but feel that feeling again of someone looking at her. Looking past the pillar, saw Blake leaning against a different car. He had on brown leather gloves and a long scarf wrapped around his neck. A black sweater with a white button up underneath, his collar just barely peeking out behind the scarf. Tan long pants and the scarf was navy blue that matched his car. Navi blue and white Ferrari 250 gt California. He did say he had a very interesting collection of cars but she just didn't believe it.
