Nightmares: chapter two

I woke up the next morning with a sudden jerk as sweat was dripping from my forehead and a year slipped down my cheek. The nightmares where back.

When my parents died I started to have nightmares, it was always the same one over and over again. I had just got back from the Malfoy manor and when I entered the Mancier Mansion it was completely empty with nothing but a note from my parents.
The note:
Valerie, by the time you read this your father and I will be gone but we want you to know that we love you so much but we are sorry to inform you that one day you will have to take our place in something we tried our best to keep you out of. However when the time comes much later Narcissa will help you through it. We love you so much valerie baby and I hope you will understand.

That's when I woke up everytime. The nightmares wouldn't stop until they got so bad that I slipped into Draco's room and nudged him awake to ask if I could sleep on the couch in his room one night, and when I was with Draco the nightmares faded. That's how it's been since my parents died I would sleep in Draco's room on the couch even though I had a wonderful room at the Malfoy Manor being with Draco made them go away.

I never really thought what would happen when we started Hogwarts, obviously I couldn't sleep in Draco's room because of his roommates and he couldn't sleep in mine either. So I will just have to cope with the nightmares on my own for now, and maybe I'll talk to Draco about it later.

My first class was Potions followed by transfiguration, Charms, D.A.D.A (Defense Against the Dark Arts), and in the afternoon herbology, history of magic, and a flying class.

Draco and I had all of our classes together along with most of the Slytherins and unfortunately most of our classes where shared with the Gryffindors.

"Pssstt, Draco" I Whispered as I pretended to write down the history of magic notes.

"What do you want Valerie, I'm trying to take the notes" he answered with a huff.

"Stop lying I can see your paper there's nothing there, I'm not an idiot" I playfully punching him in the shoulder.

"Are you sure about that" He said snickering.

"Fine, whatever I was gonna suggest we sneak out of this bloody boring class and hangout in the common room, but that's fine I'll go by myself" I told him smirking as I stood up and walked to Professor Binns desk. "I have a stomach ache, may I use the bathroom" I asked batting my eyelashes.

"Go ahead" he said barely looking at me. I walked out of the the classroom and as I passed Draco I gave him a playful wink before exiting.

The portrait door opened then closed and I smirked to myself. "Finally decided to join me?" I chuckled as he sat next to me on the sofa.

"Whatever" he answered flicking my forehead.

"Draco I actually wanted to talk to you about something" I said picking at the black nail polish on my fingers.

"Yeah, sure you do" he said rolling his eyes

I just rolled my eyes and continued, "The nightmares came back" I told him staring into my lap.

"Well, what can we do about it" he said glancing over at me.

"I don't don't know, I know that we can't do what we did at the Malfoy Manor but I just- nevermind it's fine, I'm fine" I answered looking back at him.

"Ok" is all he said before he got up and started for the portrait door.

"Where are you of to" I asked standing up from the couch.
