Chapter 2: Rewritten Memories

S. Rose's POV:

Once I arrived at my palace I put River into a guest room I had made for him & got to work. I started to rewrite his memories switching Bryan out with me & I completely erased the part of Bryan with Inpu & Magnas and what had just happened.

~15 minutes later~

I was sitting in a chair next to River's new bed waiting for him to wake up. I was about to go to bed myself when I heard him waking up.

River: W-where am I?!

Before I went over to River I put on my best worried voice & then hurried over to him, helping him sit up.

S. Rose: You're awake oh thank goodness!!

River looked at me clearly confused looking around at the room he was now in! Before turning back towards me, finally speaking up.

River: Wha- what happened? Why are my memories a bit fuzzy?

S. Rose: River you got attacked by a few of those campers from that Camp Oasis! During trying to fight back you lost a lot of energy causing you to pass out!

I saw River look down a bit seemingly deep in thought taking in the "information" I had just said before looking back at me, his eyes meeting mine for a few seconds.

River: I guess that's why my head hurts!

I couldn't help but to smile as River seemed to have bought the lie. This was gonna be easy.. I thought to myself before putting on my act once again!

S. Rose: You must be hungry, correct? I have food from the kitchen. It's your favorite. I made sure of it!

I saw River let out a weak smile before taking the bowl of ramen from my hands as he started to eat it, taking it easy to not hurt himself any more. Once he was done I took the empty bowl & put it on the desk.

S. Rose: Would you like one of your books to read since you're probably not ready to sleep seeing how you just woke up?!

River: Y-yes, I would like that thank you!

I got up and went to pick the book out that I saw him read in his past & then handed it to him.

S. Rose: I'm going to go into my room ok just call my name if you ever need me for anything!

He smiled as I walked out of the room & made my way towards mine. I couldn't help but grin at this victory with River on my side. I could have enough power to win against that son of Zeus & Bryan!! But only time will tell I guess...
