Intro: Late Night Thoughts

Grill and Chill were laying in bed. It was a lovely night as the moon shone through the window and the stars were plentiful. But Chill could tell something was up with Grill as he was quiet, staring at the ceiling with a dazed look in his eyes.

"Are you okay big guy?" Chill asked, pulling Grill closer to him. Grill's trance broke as he looked over at Chill. "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" Grill mumbled, not liking his thought process being interrupted. "You looked really concentrated, that's all." Chill stated. "Well I was thinking about something." Grill mentioned, just wanting the get back to it. "Thinking? About what?" Chill asked,now curious.He was sure Grill never thought about a single thing in his life.

There was a long pause. Chill was about to tell him to don't worry about it but Grill stated "Us." Chill sat up and looked at Grill before asking "Us? Is there something wrong? Are you not happy?" He saw Grill roll his eyes before pulling Chill back down. "No, not on that way. I'm just thinking about the past." Grill explained, not wanting Chill to feel like there's a problem and stress out over it. Chill calmed down and started to reminisce a bit. "Wow, we've been together a long time." Chill thought out loud, recalling how they were together since freshman year of high school. "Yeah, knew each other for even longer too." Grill added on, them knowing each other since first grade.

Memories flooded through their minds, all the things they went through, good and bad washing over them. Comfortable silence surrounded them. They laid there in each others embrace and let them come.
