Chapter 1

The wind became stronger and colder with every step Taehyung took towards the beach. The air smelled like the salty sea water as waves could be heard in the distance. Being it the first day of spring it felt a bit chilly but Taehyung loved it.

With his hands in the pockets of his jacket and his eyes glued to his shoes he strolled down the street. Taking in the air he came to a stop right in front of the beach.

He came here often to clear his mind after a long day and just watch the sun set. The waves were strong and high today and the beach was quiet with no other people to be found.

Knowing that it would soon become high tide he made his way to his usual personal and private spot. A cliff right beside the sand beach. He had the best view from up there.

Loose tiny rocks made it a bit difficult to get up there but Tae had done this so often by now, that he made it look easy.

He was however surprised at the sight of another person sitting in his spot. A girl... her back turned to him with her feet dangling from the edge.

She had not noticed Taehyung yet and so he stopped in his trails. Should he leave? I mean, not many people made it up here so it must be that she wanted some privacy.

The girl however did look a bit odd. Her hair was long, wavy and white. She didn't seem to be wearing a jacket either as Taehyung saw two very pale and nude arms resting on each side of her. Wasn't she cold?

Turning around slowly he was about to leave when a few rocks fell down blew his cover. The girl looked over her shoulder letting out a soft gasp from shock.

"Oh sorry, don't mind me, I was about to leave" he apologized.

The girl looked around her in panic.

"Don't you feel cold?" Taehyung asked even to his own surprise.

The girl however did not seem to calm down a bit. It almost felt like she was hiding something.

"Hey..."

Not getting a response from the girl threw him off.

"Are you even Korean?" He now asked with the bit of English he knew while curiously taking a step towards her direction.

Suddenly the girl pushed herself off the cliff. It all happened too fast for Taehyung to process.

"NO!" Teahyung yelled now running to the edge of the cliff as fast as he could. The cliff wasn't very high, it was just that the waves were insane today.

Dropped on his knees he looked over the edge. Eyes wide, afraid of the sight that was waiting for him. Waves were crashing onto rocks forcefully but not a sign of the girl. Taehyung swallowed lumps in his throat away.

Don't tell me he just witnessed a suicide attempt? All kinds of thoughts roamed his head. He yelled a few times only to be replied by his own echo. Do I call the cops? An ambulance? Are there any life guards around?

He quickly pulled his phone out looking down the cliff every few seconds still hoping to see a sign of the girl. "No fucking signal" he cursed at his phone that wouldn't connect to anything.

Seriously getting worried it would be too late, he got up and quickly made his way down the cliff again looking around for anyone really.

Getting down there again he suddenly saw a silhouette in the corner of his eye making him turn back to the ocean instantly. The girl! She had been sitting on a rock this time right under the cliff.

"Jeez don't ever do that again!" he yelled slowly making his way over to the girl while trying to balance himself on giant rocks.

The girl had been startled once again and tried avoiding eye contact. Keeping her back turned to him she looked around for a way out. More panic coming up with every step he came closer.

"do NOT come any closer!" she yelled at the boy making him stop in his footsteps once again looking up surprised.

"So you do speak Korean" he replied trying to look for eye contact but the girl kept her gaze down. Trying not to be noticed he slowly came closer, the waves covering any minor noise his footsteps made.

He did not get a proper look at the girl yet being blinded by the light of the setting sun. Being close enough now he couldn't believe what he was seeing. "Wow..." he said blinking a few times to make sure his eyes weren't deceiving him.

Hearing his voice this up close she looked over her shoulder finding the boy not even 3 steps away from her. Feeling in danger her instincts took over immediately. Nails that turned into claws and fangs that grew between her normal teeth she growled at the boy. A bit scared he took a step back.

"It's ok" he spoke, voice deep but somewhat soft and soothing. He very slowly crouched down making sure not to make the girl any more scared. He too felt a bit intimidated but kept his cool.

For a moment it was silent. He stared at the girl with his head slightly tilted to the side, an unreadable expression on his face. She however kept growling at him softly. Teeth showing, claws out and eyebrows furrowed from anger and fear.

"What.... are you?"
