The time came around for the date he'd asked me on. As I was walking up to him I realised we were at an ice rink. 'Hiya, you okay?' I asked him. 'Yeah, you?' He replied. 'Aw yeah I'm good'.
'So have you ever ice skated before?' He asked me. 'Well, I did abit when I was younger. So I can't do anything fancy but I can stay up right' I laughed. 'Okay okay. At least you can stay up right'.
We'd got our skates on and now we're on the ice. We were just skating round in circles, holding hands. 'So, you know what I do for a living. Tell me what you do for work' he said to me. 'Actually I'm not doing anything right now, I'm in my last year at university. Coincidentally I'm doing dance' I laughed. 'Oh wow. So would you say my kind of dance is your style?' He questioned. 'Actually no. It could not be further from it' , I laughed, 'I love watching it, I just think i look rubbish doing it'. He replied, 'well I think on the next date I'll be teaching you some of my dances'. I paused for a second, 'oh on the next date'. 'If you'd like' he said to me. 'Of course I would' he replied.
We'd finished on the ice rink and we were now sat in the cafe. Pel was sat in front of me with a milkshake, I had ordered a mixed slushie and we had chips to share. 'Honestly I couldn't have asked for a better date. I'm defo not the type of person to do a fancy date' I said to him. 'No me neither. Nadia is probably gonna hate the fact that I took you on this type of date' , he laughed, 'but I'm glad you said that. Suppose it'll make her okay with it'. 'Yeah true. I feel like it's too much pressure on a fancy dinner date. This is way more chill'.
The date had sadly ended and we were stood outside saying goodbye. 'So, would you like that second date?' Pel asked. 'Of course I would. Just text me when you want to go on it' I smiled. 'I will do. See you soon'. We hugged and walked away from each other. I'm excited for the next date!
