Oblivious

Chapter/6

I was packing up the last pieces of my suitcase. Kian "volunteered" to drive me to the airport because we "coincidentally" have a flight the same day. I walk out in the living room where I was actually surprised to see Sophie awake on the couch. She jumps up and runs over to me."I though you'd stay in there forever." I laugh and start putting on my shoes. "Well happy early 18th birthday, we're gonna party hard when you get back." "We better, I'm gonna need a party after spending five days with my parents." I zip my jacket and put carry-on bag on top of my suitcase. "Are you going to visit Jess while you're up there?" She asks opening the fridge. "Hmm, probably not, not that her mom would even let me, she's like a hawk." Sophie nods and grabs the milk. My phone lights up with Kian's name and a picture of us. I quickly grab my phone and answer it. "Hello?" "Get your ass down here so I can kiss you." I giggle and hang up. I look up at Sophie and she's suspiciously looks at me. "He told me to hurry up or he'll leave without me." "Whatever, have fun, see you in 5 days." I wave and run out with my suitcase. I open the apartment door and Kian gets out of the car. I run over and jump in his arms. His arms wrap me tightly and he lifts me off the ground. He puts me down and looks into my eyes. "Are you sure you want to meet my family, because after this there's no turning back." I laugh and put my hands on his cheeks. "I'm positive, now lets go we can't afford to miss our flight."

Most of our day was spent flying and driving places to finally get to Kian's house. We walked up to the front door and he looked back at me. "Okay, this is really your last chance to run away." "Kian..." He holds his hands up and turns back to the door. He opens it and runs in. Screams come from inside the house. My heart then randomly starts beating really fast. Am I nervous? Oh my god, I'm meeting Kians family. I look around before I slowly grab my suitcase. Kian runs peeks his head out from the door and looks at me laughing. "Whoa wait, are you okay?" He asks walking towards me. I look up at him and smile. "Ya ya, I'm uh fine." He wraps his arms around me and whispers in my ear. "I was joking earlier, everything will be alright, I'll be by your side the entire time." I nod and grab my suitcase. I start to walk in and Kian drapes his arm over my shoulder. There was a man with a ponytail sitting at a little table in the kitchen. He turns around and stands up. "Hey there, I'm Rio." I started smiling and replied. "I'm Sydney." He nods and sits back down. "Lets meet the rest of the wolf pack." Kian puts his hand on my back guiding me to the living room. There sat two girls on the couch, a woman in a rocking chair, and a guy sitting in front of a computer. The guy jumps from his seat and runs over. "Hey I'm Cole." He steps back and scans me up and down."Gee Kian, you brought a real one, with a face and everything." "Alright alright, you've got a good enough look." Kian says pushing me towards the couch. "Hi, I'm Izzy and thats Tab." They both wave and then I turn to the woman in the chair. She stands up and walks over to me. "None of the others hugged you but I just feel the need too since you've been dealing with my boy this entire time." She hugs me and starts walking in front of us. "I'll show you where you're staying so you can relax. She takes us upstairs to a room with blue walls and a queen size bed. "Ah, home sweet home." Kian says walking in front of me. "This is my room." His mom stands in the door frame smiling. "I'm gonna start cooking soon so you can rest till then. She walks back downstairs and I close the door. "Sooo...?" Kian says gesturing me to speak. "They're all great and your moms incredibly sweet." He pulls me in for a kiss and pulls away. "Happy birthday baby."
