"Are you kidding me? You're seriously breaking up with me?" Stiles Stilinski's voice echoed through the hallway as he hastily followed his now ex-girlfriend, Ava Dean, out of his room. The hallway was bathed in sunlight, illuminating her beautiful brown skin and casting a warm glow on her face. Her dark brown eyes bore into him, intense and captivating, as if they held the power to consume him entirely. She looked like a goddess, a deity who was tearing his very soul apart.

"Yes, Stiles. I just think it isn't working out between us."

"But... this is so sudden. I mean, things have been going well. I-I don't understand," His voice filled with confusion and disbelief. Ava took a deep breath, her resolve wavering as she fought back tears. "This may seem sudden to you, but God, I've been grappling with this for a long time. I don't think I love you, Stiles, not in the romantic sense, at least. And... I don't want to hurt you, but here we fucking are," she confessed.

Stiles couldn't help but think of the only reason this was happening, "Is there someone else?"
Ava shook her head vigorously, desperately trying to convince them both. Her heart whispered a different truth, but she chose to ignore it. She knew that it would only bring more chaos. "What? No! There isn't," she replied.

As Ava turned around and made her way towards the front door, Stiles wasn't going to let her go like this, not without a fight. He followed her, his footsteps echoing behind her. Desperation laced his words as he pleaded, "Listen... can we talk about this? Please. Why are you walking away like our relationship meant nothing?"

Ava's steps halted abruptly, her back turned to him. She took a deep breath, summoning all her strength to hold herself together.

"I'm not saying it means nothing, Stiles," Ava began, her voice filled with raw emotion. "It's just... I can't keep holding onto something that's hurting me. But... maybe with time, we can both heal and- "

"And then what?" Stiles interjected, his voice dripping with bitter sarcasm. "You want us to be friends?"

Ava's voice faltered. With her eyes fixed on the ground, she replied, "Yes... I do value you as a friend. Our friend group shouldn't have to suffer because of our breakup," she whispered, her words carrying the weight of her conflicted feelings.

Stiles let out a humorless laugh, his tone cutting through the air. "Are you fucking with me?" he spat, his anger lashing out. "First, you break up with me, and now you have the audacity to ask if we can be friends again? No, no, fuck you, Ava. You're nothing but a shallow shell of a human. I can't believe this."

Ava flinched at his harsh words. A few agonizing seconds passed before she continued walking away. Stiles watched her go, his anger slowly dissipating, leaving only feelings of sadness and loss.
