Dark Secrets

Chapter 1 || Wrong place. Wrong time.

It was late on a Saturday evening as Neveah was finishing up cleaning the shop floor before her shift is to end. It's been quite busy since her work in the hair salon has re opened the shop back for business, so this whole week she has run behind and has always ended up finishing later than usual.

As Neveah was sweeping around the front of the salon  she noticed a a group of men rush past the shop in all black and wearing masks. 'I wonder what that's all about' she though as she was looking in the direction of the way the man were running intrigued with what was happening.

"Neveah do you mind closing the shop when your finished? I have to hurry back home." Her boss shouts and brings her back to reality, as she averts her gaze from outside to her boss. "Oh yea, sorry of corse I can, have a good weekend!" She said as she  smiled softly to her boss. He smiled back and walked out the shop. 'I'll just finish up and then head home' she thought to her self and she quickly finished what she was doing.

'Time Skip'

Neveah was walking home it was quite late and dark the only light to be seen were from the street light and the stars in the sky.
(Phone rings) the sound of her phone brings her back to reality. 'I wonder who that could be?' She thought as she gets her phone from her bag and sees the caller I.D *Mum 'why is she calling me?' She answered the phone.

"Are you okay?" She asked her mother "yes sweetheart, I'm just calling to let you know that nobody will be home when your back, your Dad and I are going away on a business trip for a couple weeks and your siblings are staying else where." Her mother explains to her.
"Oh, I see." She answers "we have left some money for you in the kitchen for food, if you need it" her mother reply's . "Okay, thank you. Stay safe love you" she says "love you too, bye" her mother says and cuts the call.

Neveah then puts her phone back in her bag and continues walking down the street. After a few minutes of walking she can hear shouting coming from an ally just ahead. She rushes over quickly and quietly hides behind a bin when she sees a few men arguing with a man, 'they look like the people who ran past the shop before?' One man is shouting while holding a gun in his right hand.

As Neveah is trying not to make a noise she silently stays behind the bin trying to listen to what's being said. "Do you really think you were going to get away with this?" The man with the gun says as he pulls it up to level with the man that has his back to her. "Hah! Kill me if you want that won't make a difference. What's done is done and there's nothi-"
*BANG!*

The gun shot rang clearly through the empty streets. As Neveahs hand met her mouth as the mans body fell lifelessly to the ground. "Well that went well?" Said another mans voice to the man who had just killed this guy. "He was starting to piss me off.." he answered back.

Neveah couldn't believe what she had just seen and her body felt week to her knees, she stumbled causing her to hit her head on the bin she was hid behind she rubbed her head to find it was bleeding. "Shit!" She mutters. This grabbed the men's attention and they saw Neveah on the floor in shock. "FUCK! GET HER!" The man says and Neveah noticed and stumbled to her feet and ran for what felt like hours.

*Time Skip*

*Neveahs POV*
Finally I stopped running and checked around to find nothing, i took the chance to catch my breath and take a break. I think about what i just saw. "Shall I go to the police?" I said "They just killed a man? Who were they?" I say while trying to catch my breath. When I heard a voice.

*Author's POV*
"Going to the police will not be an opportunity you'll get to take princess.." a cold voice says causing Her to jump to her feet and stumble back a little, not knowing what to do she speaks out nervously "L-listen... I don't know who you are but I won't say anything I promise!" She said as her eyes meet with a new man who leaning on a car with his hands tucked in his pant pockets. "Thats not going to work now is it?" He says with no emotion.

*Jimins POV*
As she's speaking broken words and her eyes full of fear I can help but notice her beauty. Her long silky hair, her earthly blue eyes and pale yet tanned skin. She's beyond beautiful there's no doubt about it. As she speaks trying to get away her voice is soft yet broken.

She's slowly backing up trying to time when to run away... I almost feel sorry for her. "We can do this the easy way. Or the hard way, which one will it be?" As I say that she stops for a second  like she was going to run. It's a shame though Little did she know I have my men behind her ready for that to happen  "I'm not stupid." She says as I study her face for a second until I signal one of my men to grab her with my eyes, but what she did instead of run surprised me, causing me to lean of my car.

*Neveas POV*
I had a gut feeling from the second he mentioned for me to pick what to do... There were people behind me "I'm not stupid." I say paying close attention to his body language as my body was burning with rage, and with that he ever so slightly moved his eyes from mine and back I knew from then any second someone will try to grab me.

My heart was beating fast as my adrenaline was kicking in, I hear a slight sound on my left side and as I did I remembered when my Dad used to teach me some self defence growing up, I see a shadow in the corner of my eye of another mans arm so without thinking I turn to my side and grab the mans wrist with my right hand and his upper arm with my left and I step in facing my back to the mans body and with all of my strength flip him over me and onto his back.

As i feel my body trembling slightly from his heavy weight. I didn't think I could actually do that. I look up to the man that has leaned off his car and was looking at me with a shocked expression. I knew from then there's no going back now.

*Jimins POV*
I didn't expect her to pull such a move, she surprised me. After she achieved it I could see her body started to slightly shake and she looks at me once again. This girl has some fight in her and she wasn't going down without one.

I let her  struggle against one of my men and went into my pocket to grab a cloth and soaked with in a potent substance of  chloroform to knock someone to sleep. I look back up to signal another one of my men to restrain her. He went to grab her arm but she kicked him between the legs, 'that must have hurt'.

I waste no time and walk up behind her clutching her hands together with my left hand and placing the cloth over her mouth with my right. She was struggling against me for what felt like quite some time, she is definitely not weak  as this dose should've knocked her out right away, unfortunately she isn't stronger than me.

After a few seconds of her struggling against me she soon fell limp in my arms 'Thank god' I thought and i picked her up bridal style and carried her to the car laying her down on the back seat, I got into the car and sat beside her unconscious body "Where too boss?" The driver asked me I look over to the girl sprawled next to me, She looks so at peace when sleeping.

Her plump red lips part slightly as she stirs in her sleep. "My house." I say back in a cold tone looking away from her. Three of my other men sat opposite me look at me with shocked expressions. "Your place?" Marcel askes me confused "May I ask why? You never bring people back there!" Teahyung says to me. "Shes intriguing."

I said and with that they nod and we drive off. After a few moments of silence I look back at the girl and say "I want a background check doing on her. I want to know all about her as soon as possible." I look over at Jungkook "Okay I'll start now so you have it for when we arrive." He said and grabbed the Ipad as I handed him the girls bag to start his research. The rest of the drive back was silent.
