She wandered through the halls. Searching for something. Something she didn't know of. Only that she was searching for something. She came here, say after day after day. Day after day after day after fucking day. The world beckoned to her, though. It told her to get her head out of the clouds and to fucking concentrate. The world made plans. It wove a thread through the bars of a cage. It took her through line after line after day after day. It threaded the string through specific places. It thought she should only do things that advanced this idea. This idea that she'd grow up, go to college, study, study, get a job, get a family, die. She saw the path the thread carved out  for her. And she hated it. She hated the way it decided her fate before her. It pulled her away from her friends. From her hobbies. She dreaded its finality. The way it felt. Like nothing she ever did would change anything. The world gave her the thread. And told her to follow it.

       And

                       Never

                                               Let

                                                                 It

                                                                             Go.
