~One Part~

You and Felix sit alone on his bed. Your head resting on his lap while he sits upright, legs crisscrossed, his head leaning back on the headboard. The room is dark, only lit be the tv screen mounted on the dresser. The air is cold, but somehow the heat from Felix's body travels from your neck all the way down to your toes and you're filled with warmth and comfort. Felix begins to softly run his fingers through your hair, starting at your scalp and ending at the tips. He adjusts himself in his seat, but some of your hair is still caught in his finger. You wince as you feel the sharp tug in the middle of your scalp.
"What's wrong? Did I hurt you," Felix asks softly, his tone is eager.
"No I'm okay. You just tugged on my hair a little, that's all," you reply.
"I can stop if you want me too,"
"No really, I'm okay. It felt nice," you say, shyly. You can see Felix's cheeks turning light pink, even in the dimly lit room. You feel yours changing too. You settle back in and place your head back on Felix's lap. You feel the gentle flow of his hand movements begin again and count the seconds of each stroke.
1...2...3...4.....1...2...3...4.....1...2-
The counting was enough to send you to sleep.

You wake up to the sun on your face. You blink a couple times before fully opening your eyes. You feel something covering your body. It's soft and smells familiar. Like....Felix. You look over your shoulder and see the blanket that was once sitting at the edge of the bed draped over  your legs and waist. You wiggle your toes, not really knowing why. You turn your head back around and see Felix leaning on the headboard. The same spot he was in the night before. His eyes are lightly shut and his head is leaning to the left ever so slightly. You gaze at him for a few seconds, admiring each freckle that decorates his glowing skin. You pull your head up from Felix's lap and push the rest of your body up with your palms. This causes Felix to wake up. His eyes flutter open and he lifts his arms up in a big stretch. You're now sitting upright, leaning on your hand for support. You and Felix make eye contact. You can see the sparkle in his eyes as he softly smiles at you.
"Morning sunshine," he says softly.
His morning voice rings through your brain. It's comforting, yet mildly intimidating. Your favorite sound.
"Why didn't you move me over? You didn't have to stay like that all night," you say, analyzing Felix's soft facial features.
"I know how hard it is for you to get to sleep usually, so I didn't want to wake you up."
You gaze at him for a long time. Taking in every part of his face. His freckles, his eyes, his lips, his nose, his jaw. Everything. Then, suddenly, you collapse onto Felix and wrap your arms around his neck. Your head pressed against his shoulder. Felix wraps his arms around your waist, holding you in a warm embrace. You let your body sink into his, and exhale.
