Inhaling and exhaling of breathes were the only source of sound in the hall. Shivaay couldn't understand anything. He couldn't even feel the air. All he felt was despair. His mother was expelled. No..She chose that for them. Why? Why always them? He covered his face with his palms as tears started flowing from his eyes.

It was heart wrenching to see. Jhanvi's heart broke into a million pieces seeing her children like this. Shivaay was crying. She failed. She failed as a friend, as a Queen, as a mother! She wished she could go back in time. She closed her eyes tightly as she fell on the couch.

Gauri's eyes held unshed tears. She felt as if something heavy was placed on her heart. She will never see her mother again. All her hopes were crushed under fate's feet. She was losing her emotional balance. Her lips quivered. She gripped her dress tightly.

Anika watched Shivaay  with tears in her eyes. Happiness. That was the only thing she's always wished for in life. It was all perfect! She swallowed the lump in her throat and slowly knelt beside Shivaay. The strong man was no where to be seen. The man in front  of her was vulnerable. Far from the Shivaay she'd seen. "Shivaay" she slowly called. When he didn't respond, she removed his palms from his face. His eyes were red. She couldn't see him like this. "Shivaay" she called again. This time, he looked into her eyes. His blue-green eyes shined with tears. Anika slowly wiped his tears. "Why?" he shouted in a whisper. Anika cupped his face as the strong keeper broke down.

Rudra and Bhavya looked at their friends. They were unsure about what to do. Jhanvi was crying, Shivaay was breaking down and Gauri..Gauri didn't utter a word. The last thought scared them. Gauri's silence scared them. Bhavya worriedly looked at Rudra. His brows were in a frown and his eyes held pain. The palace was losing its charm.

Ishana looked at everyone. She gulped to prevent herself from crying. The pain of broken hopes is unbearable. They lived in the hope of meeting their mother someday and suddenly they're proven wrong. But deep inside her heart, she could feel new hopes rising.

Riddhima was shocked with everything. She never expected things to turn out like this. She regretted every word she said to Gauri. How could she!? She was ashamed of herself. She looked at Gauri with guilt. She was scared by the emotionless aura that surrounded her. And Svetlana's presence increased her fears.

Svetlana watched everything calmly despite the storm of tears threatening to spill from her eyes. She cannot lose her control. She have to remain strong. She handled suicides after all. She was worried for Gauri. She knew the pain of losing something dear. She herself had gone through it once. If Gauri's thoughts starts to travel towards her, she will have to approach Gauri. And she didn't want that to happen. She let out a troubled sigh. But one look at Omkara and she knew she was unnecessarily worried.

Omkara felt a sharp pain in his heart seeing Gauri like that. She hadn't moved from her place. He could see her gripping tightly onto her dress. Her lips were quivering. But what saddened him more was the loss of warmth in those eyes. Her eyes were as cold as eyes. So unlike Gauri. No..He couldn't let her break down. "Gauri" it came out as a mere whisper but was powerful enough to grab everyone's attention.

"Gauri" he called again taking slow strides towards her. Gauri's trance broke and she looked in his direction. As he took another step, she started walking backwards. She was too scared to face anyone now. Without listening to anything, she ran in the garden's direction. 

Rudra was about to follow her but Omkara eyed him which halted his steps. Omkara ran to the garden without waiting for anything else. Rudra knew his brother won't stop him unless it was too private to interfere. That confused him. Private talks between Om and Gauri was not something anyone would expect. But right now Gauri mattered more. And if her peace lies with Omkara, he was more than willing to leave them alone. He looked at a worried Bhavya and assured her as the duo walked to Jhanvi.
