Thatwasawkward :
What made you want to start writing?:
Since I was tiny, I've always scribbled things down in notebooks, inventing little worlds for myself :). I started off writing myself sequels to books that I'd loved but sadly didn't have sequels because I didn't want the story to end!
What's your favorite thing to write about?
I love romance and fantasy, I suppose. But mainly that's because it's what I enjoy to read. I also want to give fictional history a go.
When do you write?
I try to write a little every day but I'm pathetic at keeping to this limit. Normally I write quite a bit on Saturdays.
Which story of yours do you like the best so far?
I've written quite a few unfinished stories but I've only posted one on Wattpad, The Vampire's Maid, so I suppose that this is my favourite.
Which character from one of your stories can you most connect to?
Probably the main character, Elizabeth, in The Vampire's Maid. I don't even have to think 'what would Elizabeth do in this situation?' when I'm writing because I'd do exactly the same thing as her!
Are you someone who thinks that their writing is the best and greatest or that it's horrible and you're surprised you have so many fans?
I don't think that it's horrible but it is messy, raw and unedited. I'm surprised and greatly honoured that I have so many fans!
So even though people mostly know you for writing (I love the vampires maid! it's wonderful) what do you look for when you read a wattpad book?
Oh thank you :D In a Wattpad book the spelling and grammar has to have very few mistakes. I know that I make a few spelling errors but when somebody makes one every sentence, it's so off-putting. On Wattpad I mainly look for romance because I'm a sucker for anything like that!
What are some of your favorite wattpad book
s?Just a couple of them:
Flashbacks of a fool - DistantDreamer. It's beautifully written and is based in Victorian times, I think. It's a romance without all of the gadgets and distractions of the modern world.
Save me- xOne_Summerx It's not quite as well written as Flashbacks of a Fool but the story line is great in my opinion. Just a teen romance.
How do you feel when people say they love your writing?
I feel grateful that they've taken the time to read it and taken the time to give me feedback. I always smile like crazy when I read these comments!
Do you listen to music when you write? Does it inspire you? If not, where do you find your inspiration?
Yes, I listen to music all the time! I find it hard to just sit in silence and even if it's just background noise, I love it. Music doesn't really inspire me but it does make writing more pleasurable for me. I get inspiration at random moments in class or in the shower when my brain is clear. (Haha, yes it is very clear in class). People inspire me. I base characters loosely around people I know. Except for Ashley. Unfortunately he isn't real :(
