THE NEW GIRL

Chapter Seven

"Hello Dorothy" I greeted as we walked towards her.

Ever since that incident with Ian.At first he started avoiding me then it moved to ignoring my existence.He didn't want to talk about it,I have tired to explain my part to him saying I didn't mean it,the way he thought.He totally snubbed me.Even while in the cafeteria,he won't seat beside me,laughed at joke.Cole and the rest noticed the moment,they've asked me.I told them what happened,Dorothy and Cole were taken back at what I've told them.When I asked what the problem was,they kept mute too.I care less though,I've kept my distance from him and started enjoying my life with no stress.Because I did nothing wrong.

"How are you doing?"Lorna asked,adjusting her glasses.Now I can say,I have Three friends(Dorothy,Cole and lorna).We have been really close but Ian.He kept distancing himself from me.I'm worried about him.

"I'm Good guys,you?" she said,hugging the both of us."Hope you are ready for tonight."She squealed.

Yes the party.Dorothy has been talking about it the whole week.The party will be thrown by her friends.They've personally invited her,sending a big box full of sweet and flowers for her to be there.She has promised to be there not without us(Lorna and I).

"Yes,I'm with dress" I said pointing at my bag.I'm really excited about the party.I've invited Maggie to the party and We are dressing at Lorna house since her house is the closest.

"Guys,Are you guys sure about the party."Lorna stated.It took us whole five hours to convince her.She was not into party.She is a straight A student that spends all her free time on YouTube,goggle,and stalking Beyonce.

"Calm down,we are going to have fun."I assured her.

"Yes girl."Cole said,coming out no where.I suspected he likes her.The moment we introduced Lorna to the group.He has been loving to her.He has not say it but Dorothy and I noticed the chemistry.

"But Guys"

"You promised me" Dorothy said,reminding her about our 29note of 'i promise to go the party'.She made us  write those note and signed it.It is a contract between us and we must not breech the contact or else we will bear the consequence.I don't think we are ready for the 'consequences'.

After thinking twice,"Okay"she sighed heavily.

"Yes"Cole smiled like he has won some kind of battle.

"What class are you having?"Dorothy asked,facing me and Lorna.

"Yes,I'm have Mathematics"I said checking my timetable and leaving the room.

It was time of the party and we are at Lorna's house.Lorna's mum is just the best,she told to dragged her daughter out if she doesn't want to go.She left us after giving us a speech about using condom,not getting wasted and to enjoy life to the fullest.Now we are close to it.

"Dorothy can you help us with our make up."I said,because i can't stop looking at her as she beat her face.

"Don't worry,I got you."she winked at us.

"Guys I don't know what to wear."Lorna told us as she scattering her wardrobe.

"Ask Elena to help with it." Dorothy said smiling."and also her fashion sense is top notch."she added.I can't help but blush at her complement.

"Come on stop blushing and help out."Lorna flung me to her wardrobe.

"What type of party are we going?"She asked wanting to know how safe she was.I was hoping it wasn't a college parties.Based on what I have heard from Maggie,it was the wildest of all.

"Calm your nerves"Dorothy called out.She could sense how tense we were to know the kind of sh*t we are getting ourself in."It is not a college party.it's a party thrown by some high school friends at a neighboring school."  She said calming our nerves.
