Bad Hair Day

I wake up to the fresh smell of bagels and realize they are gone. It was 5am in the morning and I was still in bed. I wanted to wake up but I knew there was no point, but I did it anyway. I place my feet on the cold floor and begin to wake up. The bathroom smelled like old toothpaste so I sprayed some perfume so it would smell good. By the time I was done with everything there was one more thing that I had to do and that was doing my hair. That was the worst idea I could have ever made. My mom was out of town and I didnt know what to do, my dad didn't know how to do my hair and my sister was so young she didn't know how to tie her own shoes. It was very stressful for those 5 minutes of my life but I knew I had to figure something out. So I decided to shave it, yea you heard me. I felt so confident about how I shaved it but when I turned around in the mirror I hated it. I screamed so loud that even my neighbors woke up. My dad came running up the stairs to check on me and didn't even realize who i was. I gave my dad the death stare and suddenly he got me a hat. Ḧe told me to take it so I didn't look crazy but I knew that wasn't going to work. I was in panic and had to think of a quick plan, so then I got an amazing idea. To call in sick. I was so happy because I knew my dad was going to say yes...but I was wrong. He said there is no reason why I should miss school just because of my hair. I was so mad at him, boys would never understand. I ran upstairs as fast as I could to look for a wig. Thank God I found one in my moms closet but I had to hide it so when she came back home she wouldn't notice. It was now 7:00 and school started in 30 minutes. I rushed down the stairs and gobbled my breakfast as quick as I could and put my shoes on to get ready for school.  We headed into the car and were 3 minutes away from school and I was so nervous. I begged not to go but there was no option. I finally arrived and realized that when you need help always ask for it.
