Hard To Say Goodbye

Chapter 3

~Sage's P.O. V~

After practice, Hoseok offered to take me home which I gladly accepted which ended with me regretting everything that Came out of my mouth during that car ride

<Flashback>

"Well, this is me." I pointed toward the large home

"That's where you live." He asked Leaning over me to look out my window

"Yeah I guess, it's my father's home the one I was talking to you about on the way here." I chuckle awkwardly

"Right about that, why not give him a chance?" He asked like nothing

"He left if it weren't for him my life would be different maybe better I........ *sigh* you wouldn't understand, why talk to you?" I grab my stuff, but it was like in a blink of an eye Hoseok was at my door opening it like a gentleman

I didn't want to smile but he's cute and sweet forget he doesn't understand and that's what stops my urge to smile

"Thank you," I whisper loud enough for him to hear

"No problem" he smiles at me which I half-heartedly return

"Maybe you should come by the dance studio more often, you're amazing. And I wouldn't mind getting to see you more" he smiled

"I don't know maybe my mother was right dancing just isn't for me thank you for today though I had fun" I walk up the steps and as I was going to open the door he spoke up so I could hear

"But what if your mom is wrong? You'd be giving up on something that makes you happy"

"Who are you to know what makes me happy? " I ask him in an annoyed tone I just wanted to end the conversation and go to sleep

"Someone that's been right where you are now," he said getting into his car and leaving me at my doorstep perplexed

<End of Flashback>

I was outside for at least three minutes after he left

What did he mean by "someone that's been right where you are now" after the whole ride here I told him about my whole life which felt odd since I don't share my life with strangers

"He isn't a stranger Sage," I think to myself

"Gosh Sage get a grip" I whisper to myself

"Sage a word" I hear my father's voice boom from inside his office. I make my way to the room and stand at the doorway

"Yes sir?" I ask

"Where have you been?" he asked

"I was out, don't worry it won't happen again there is nothing out there for me," I said looking out the window my father had in his office

"Sage are you okay? You look upset" he asked with concern in his voice

"Yes, I am, I don't want to be here, I don't want to be with my mother. I want to be left alone where I can do what I want and be who I want to be!!!!!" I yelled out in frustration

"You watch your tone with me young lady" he raised his voice in anger

"I'm gone, I'm out of here," I say leaving his office and going upstairs to the bedroom he provides for me which I won't be using after all

I pack MY stuff the things I brought with me and I walk out of the room with my stuff in hand I walk down the stairs to find my father at the bottom of the stairs

"You cannot leave this house," he says in a stern voice I chuckle

"Watch me," I say in a sassy tone which he answers with a glare he wishes could kill me for sure

"At least stay for the dinner party tomorrow night if you can't make friends or find a reason to stay, we'll talk about you leaving" he sighed out in defeat

I couldn't think against it, all I could think was I need to sleep on a bed at least once here and tomorrow I can find a place to stay

"Fine I agree, tomorrow night only" I take my stuff back upstairs but I don't unpack I just take out my PJs and put that on to sleep I hop on my bed and lie down I pull out my phone and look for cheap hotels around here in Korea

*next morning*

I was woken up to a knock on the door, I must have fallen asleep looking for hotels. Still, someone was knocking on the door oops forgot about the door I walk to the door and open it to see my father who looked very impatient

"I've been knocking on your door for a while now," he said with a deep voice

"Sorry I just woke up," I say not directly looking at him

"Well, it doesn't matter. I want you to get ready in 20 minutes my secretary will be here and she will be taking you shopping and a lot of other lady stuff for tonight's dinner party," he said looking down at his phone while he spoke seriously

"Alright I'll go get ready now," I say trying to close the door, but he pushed it open

"There is gonna be a lot of important people. people are gonna be here to do a lot of important business" says my father holding the door and looking at me in the eyes with every word he spoke

"Yes, I understand sir" I spoke looking at the ground

"A lot of college students and college directors and people I work with this could be your opportunity to get into a good college or meet a good boy who is in or graduated from college," my father says with joy in his voice like a light bulb and turned on in his mind

"I don't know sir we will see what happens tonight. I can also leave tonight it's MY choice" I said finally looking at him directly in the eyes and closing the door with force this time around I pull some simple clothes out and head into the shower. I get out and change into my outfit of the day. I walk downstairs and walk into the dining room to find breakfast on the table

"Thank you miss" I speak quietly to the lady

"Eat up, miss Kim is here waiting for you outside" she let me know and walked out of the dining room to the kitchen I'm guessing.

I hurry through my breakfast and head to the living room where I find a beautiful woman very tall and slim, she looked up and you could see her hazel eyes, long lashes, strong jaw, and you could very much see the perfect outline of her cheekbones

"Hello, you must be Sage I'm Kim Yoon-Seo and I will be going with you to try out some dresses for tonight," she says standing up

"come with me and we'll get started" she smiles

we walk through the front door and walk towards a very fancy looking car we hop in and drive through what's seems like a very rich neighborhood and we reach some nice looking boutiques as we go further into the city the prettier the stuff gets we stop in front of this shop that has for display the most gorgeous dresses I have ever seen

"Come on let's see what they have," Miss Kim said I get out of the car and walk with her into the shop

We walk in and I felt my jaw touch the floor the dresses were amazing the only word audible coming out of my mouth was

"WOW" I hear Miss Kim chuckle beside me

"You like" she speaks looking around with a smile, I can't speak so I just nod in response

I go to the window to see the dresses there they feel so soft and look so beautiful

I take a glance up to meet his eyes I couldn't help but smile
