My crew and I have traveled to the Bermuda triangle to discover mysteries. Also, to find out why people keep disappearing in this area.

I walk out of the bunker station wearing my wet suit. I had everything prepared to enter the shark cage.

"You ready?" Shiro asked.

"Yup!" I gave Shiro a thumbs up

"Lance, are you sure? There are sharks down there." Hunk cautioned.

"I'm not scared of some measly sharks. Besides, I'm protected by metal bars anyway," I swaggered.

"Just get on with it." Pidge groaned.

"I know, I know." I held my hands up in surrender.

I jump into the shark cage, and Shiro closes the roof of it. The cage lowers deep into the ocean. The temperature drops stupendously, and I take out my underwater flashlight and look around to see if anything interesting is happening.

Everything around me is pitch black besides the light shining from my flashlight. Something crashes into the cage from behind me, but I couldn't get a good look at it.

My heart rate starts to pick up, but I have to remain calm. I need to preserve the air in my oxygen tanks.

I felt something poke my back that made me flinch. If it's a fucking squid, I will literally shit myself. I turn around and shine my flashlight to see what was there.

I was met by two giant indigo eyes that were staring back at me. It's black hair floated all around its head and red ears. I panicked and pressed my back against the opposite side of the giant.

The giant stared at me, curiously and stuck his finger in the cage again. I was on the verge of screaming from fear. If I did scream, water would find it's way in my mask and flood.

Its finger didn't fit all the way because of his webbed hands, so I was safer? The creature whimpered for some odd reason and gnawed its sharp teeth on the metal bars.

My whole body was screaming at me to get away, but I slowly swam up to him. The giant stopped chewing on the bars and stared at me again.

The bars were bent from the creature's teeth. I don't mean like a slight bend. I mean, like full-on dented. My heart was hammering within my chest at the thought of it eating me.

I looked up to see if the boat was safe and not tipped over. Thankfully it wasn't, but the creature followed where I was looking and noticed the rope.

"No! Don't!" I blurted out.

The giant looked at me with excitement and drew its face close up to me. I flinched and moved back against the other side again. The creature frowned at me, and I could tell he was getting annoyed.

"Lance, is everything okay down there? Over." Shiro asked on the radio.

"Y-yeah, all good. Over," I answered.

The giant made a crooning sound after hearing my voice again. He grabbed the cage with both hands to pry it open. When the creature pulled it closer to him, I flung against the bottom of the chamber.

"Lance, what's going on down there?! Over!"

"It's probably the currents or something. Over." I lied.

"It doesn't seem like that up here! Over." Shiro explained.

At this point, the bars on the walls around me were bent with giant fingers pulling against them. If I am this creature's meal, then it is putting in way too much effort.
