Chapter 4

2 weeks later...

"Keith, you better be on your best behavior," I demanded.

Keith rolled his eyes at me and crossed his arms.

"This is my favorite place to go, and I want to show her," I explained.

My favorite place in the world is a cliffside in front of the beach. That's where Keith and I usually hang out. He is kind of a distraction when we are exploring the ocean. Sometimes he'll hang out with me while I'm on the boat.

Keith squirted water at me from his mouth to annoy me.

"Real mature, mullet," I frowned.

I sighed and sat down on the grass. Keith chirped and swam closer to the cliffside.

"I really want to impress her, you know?" I murmured.

"Okay..." Keith smiled, showing off his sharp teeth.

I am taking Allura on a date with me, obviously. I know that she wants to be my girlfriend. We are basically made for each other. I brought a basket of yummy food for Allura and me to share.

"This is going to be amazing," I smirked.

"I can't wait!" Allura exclaimed.

We made it to the top of the cliff, the most beautiful sunset ever!

"Lance, it's beautiful." Allura awed.

"Not as beautiful as you." I winked.

Allura giggled and pulled my arm so we could sit down. She pulled me on top of her, and we began to make out. Something lifted me by the back of my shirt.

Hot air blew down on me as Allura screamed.

"Keeeeeith." I groaned.

"Wance!" Keith cheered innocently.

Keith was holding me by my shirt with his mouth so that he couldn't talk properly.

"I told you to be on your best behavior," I complained.

I brought my attention back to Allura. She had already stood up and began to walk back slowly.

"Allura, wait! Let me explain!" I shouted.

"W-what is there to e-explain?!" Allura stammered.

"This is Keith, Keith, Allura," I started. "Keith is my friend that is a pain in the ass," I shouted the last part.

Keith huffed and blew hot air on me.

"Other than that, he is friendly." I smiled. "Can you put me down now!" I whined.

"Nooo." Keith giggled.

"I need to continue my date with Allura," I argued.

Keith grumbled but eventually placed me down on the ground. I made a shooing gesture at Keith, but he didn't listen. I walked over to Allura and sat on the grass, and Allura did shortly after.

"Allura, If you were a chicken, you'd be impeccable," I smirked.

Allura grinned and rolled her eyes at me. She took a bite from her strawberry, covered in chocolate, and I took a bite from my own strawberry.

We both looked lovingly into each other's eyes and slowly leaned in closer. Keith pulled the back of my shirt and made me fall over. I scowled at him, and Keith giggled at me. Allura was startled but also annoyed at Keith.
