Gotta Catch 'Em All!!

Origins: Izuku Midoriya

A/N: This is probably one of my favorite fics I've written in a while. Not that I don't like my other ones. But I get nostalgia from when I was playing Pokemon Platinum when I was five.

   A stadium, roaring with the cheering of fans. Common for a sports game. There was a stage in the centre. And, two men walked towards it. One had blonde hair, with two bangs that stood up like a bunny's ears. He wore the colors red, white, blue, and yellow on a latex costume. The other man had spiky, red hair. He wore an orange clear-ish plastic eye masy, designed like a flame. His blue lates costume had a lava-like track running trough it, and around his shoulers was a huge hunk of plastic, in the shape of a flame.

   They both threw out red and white balls. Creatures popped out of the balls with a flash of light. "Now," a loud voice shouted, "The battle between All Might and Endeavor will begin!"

   500 years ago, a plague infected animals all over the planet. From the land, to the sea, to the sky, animals were infected and dying. Humanity thought they would lose their main source of protein. But, the animals evolved. They turned in to the creatures that we today call "Pokemon". Now, in Mustufasu city, Japan, it's a very important day in Mustufasu General Preschool. The teachers were taking the children to a pokemon research lab, to get each of the children a pokemon.

   People treated pokemon like pets. Well, most did. But, a person could only have one pokemon unless they had a much favored profession. Pokemon trainers. They were people to trained multiple pokemon to battle other Trainers and gain fame and money.

  Naturally, like in any other competition, there were rankings for the best Pokemon Trainers. And, the number one Pokemon Trainer was called the Pokemon Master. That title belonged to the number one Poekmon Master in the world, All Might, and his partner, Blaziken. There were two kids in this preschool who admired All Might more than anybody. They were Katsuki Bakugo and Izuku Midoriya.

  Now, they were both in the group sent to get their pokemon first. 20 pokemon were available for the 20 students. And, they chose who got to pick their pokemon  by brith date. Suprisingly, or not (who knows?) Katsuki Bakugo got to go first. He walked up, and chose Scorbunny. "With my partner, Scorbunny, I'm gonna be the best trainer in the world!" The young brat shouted. The children looked up to Katsuki a lot, because he was so confident.  So, they just cheered him on.

  However, Izuku Midoriya was the last one to get a pokemon. And, the lat one left was a single Froakie, who just glared anybody who looked at him. Froakie gave Izuku the same glare he gave everyone else, and backed up. But, Izuku ran forward, with the biggest smile on his face. He picked up Froakie, and hugged him. "Hi!" Izuku introduced himself excitedly, "I'm Izuku Midoriya! And you're going to be my best friend!" Froakie couldn't help but tear up. It was always on edge, seeing as his previous trainer abused him. But, Izuku generally cared. Then, Izuku gave a declaration of his own. "With my friend Froakie, I'm going to be a great trainer!" He proclaimed proudly, letting Froakie sit on his head.

  This pissed an explosively tempered blonde off. 'How dare he!' Katsuki shouted, 'That Deku! Better than me! I'll show him!' So, they went back to the daycare.

   When they got to the blayground,Katsuki walked up to Deku, pokeball in his hand. "Deku!" the brat shouted, angrily, "You think you're better than me!?" "N-No, I-" He was cut off by Katsuki throwing out his pokeball, Scorbunny popping out. "Then we'll battle to see who's better!" "Froakie?" Izuku looked uo at his pokemon partner, who gave a nod.

  They got in a battle stance, and their battle commenced!

  They were on their last pokemon. Endeavor had a charizard out, and All Might had his Blaziken. On Endeavor's finger, a shiny stone sat on a ring. "Charizard!" He shouted, "Feel the heat of battle! Mega Evolve!" A rainbow light covered his pokemon, and it transformed into a huge, porange beast, with large, and a likke extra spikes. Then, All Might tapped a similar stone on his wristguards, that went up to his elbows. "Blaziken!" He shouted, a wide grin on his face, "Let's show them the true power of partnership! Mega Evolve!" The same light glowed around Blaziken, and it transformed into a larger version of itself, and ots wrists were set aflame.  "Now, Blaziken! PLUS ULTRA!" All Might an Blaziken made the same pose, flexing and screaming into the sky. A vein-like pattern ran through Blaziken, and it glowed gold. Suddenly, it faded, and yellow lightning srurrounded it.

"Blaziken, Thunder SMASH!!!" Its fist was surrounded by yellow electricity. And, in the blink of an eye, it was in front of Charizard. The electricity coming off of its body bounced off of the floor and back, like static. Blazkin punched, and a noise like thunder cracking resounded. Then, charizard was seen, knocked unconsious.

  "Izuku is the winner!" One of their classmates shouted, who was acting as referee. Izuku's Froakie was still standing, while Scorbunny was busy takinh a dirt nap. "I'll beat you, Deku! I'm better than you!" Katsuki shouted, tears in his eyes. But, Izuku ignored him. He also had tears in his eyes. "We did it Froakie!" He shouted, hugging Froakie, and crying with such force that the ground beneath him cracked.
