Chanyeol's Point of View

I'm here at his parents house now. Meeting Baekhyun.... It makes me so excited yet why do I feel strange? 

I knocked at the door expecting for Baekhyun to open it but the person who opened it was Baekbeom, his brother.

"Yeol.... Why are you here?" Baekbeom asked completely shocked about what was happening 

"Beom who's at the door?" Mrs. Byun asks

"It's Chanyeol." Baekbeom responded

I slipped in inside and greeted them.

"Hello Mr and Mrs Byun! Merry Christmas! Is Baekhyun here?" I asked them while smiling

Mrs. Byun smiles warily and looks like she's about to cry. She goes to her husband and whispers something in his ear.

"Oh, Chanyeol. Sit down, buddy. She'll be back in a minute." Mr. Byun said and I complied.

We talked about stuff like how's America and also my studies. But everytime I ask about Baekhyun, he dodges my questions. Something's wrong but I don't want to be nosy.

Mrs. Byun comes back with a letter in her hand.

"This.... was Baekhyun's letter for you." She then bursts out crying and hugs her husband while Baekbeom tries to comfort her

Dear Chanyeol,

     Hey! It's meeeee, the cutest human in the whole universe that you're head over heels for hahahahaha. I guess you're starting your last year in a few days. I wish you the best, baby. Hopefully, this isn't my last letter for you. I won't be responding for a while since I'll be taking medications for my heart uhm... disease. Don't worry though, I'll be fine and I'll do my best to get better so we can finally be together again after this.

Hey Chan.... I'm sorry, but I can't wait for you any longer. I told you I'll do my best but I can't take it anymore. Go live your life without me. You're an independent and strong guy. Plus you're really smart and I think you'll even top the exams. Continue life without me. I'll always be here for you, alright? I love you so much, Park Chanyeol. My life wasn't long but I did enjoy every moment of it especially since you came into my life. Thank you for being my best friend and my lover. For sharing laughs and tears with me. You can find someone else, someone who can be there for you even when you're old. Don't forget me, alright? I love you so much Park Chanyeol. Thank you.
