I wish I was a fairy, and cast magic spells.
I wish I was a builder, and built the first Wishing-well.
I wish I was an elf, who stocked Santa's shelves.
I wish I was a door, we're into the earth I'd delve.
I wish I was a spirit, who shared ancient wisdom.
I wish I was a princess, who wisely watched over a Kingdom.
None of these things are possible, I learned as I grew old.
But I can still be a writer, and tell the greatest stories ever told.
