~Shorter Chapter~
As Natsuo slammed his apartment door shut, he sighed. He clenched his fist and hit the door.
"UGH!" he yelled. "Why can't they see he won't change." He sighed as he slid down the door. "How can they not hate him?" He took a deep breath and put his head in his hands. "How can they forgive him?" He silently sobbed. Once he calmed down, he felt his phone ring. He looked at the contact and saw it was Tensei Iida, his best friend since High school.
"Hey!" His cheerful voice came from the other end. "Natsuo, how is it going?"
"Hey Tensei."
"What's wrong?" Tensei asked worriedly.
"Nothing!" Natsuo faked a smile. "How's your brother?"
"Natsuo Todoroki," Tensei's voice became stern. "I can hear the roughness of your voice. You've been crying." Natsuo gave a breathy laugh.
"How can you tell?"
"You used to cry to me all the time when your dad did something. I took mental notes." Tensei sighed. "What did your dad do now? Shoto told Tenya he was getting better."
"Can you come over?" Natsuo whispered. "Please?" Tensei agreed and drove over as fast as he could. It was about 25 minutes later when Tensei showed up at his house.
"Natsu!" Tensei called as he entered the house. as he entered, he found his friend on the couch hiding in a blanket. "Hey, Natsu." He sat next to him. "Wanna tell me what happened?" Natsuo leaned into Tensei's side.
"A bunch of things went wrong tonight." he sighed. "First starting that my dad is dating a man half his age."
"WHAT?!" Tensei was shocked. "HE IS?!"
"Yeah..." Natsuo sighed.
"Are you mad he's with a man?"
"No. Im not homophobic Tensei. Its just who he's dating..."
"Who is he dating?"
"The number 2 hero..."
"HAWKS?!"
"Yeah..." He sighed. "And whats worse is that my family accepts it!"
"Even your mom?!"
"My mom and hawks are like best friends apparently." He took a sip of his coffee.
"How is your mom so accepting?" Tensei asked.
"I don't know..."
"What else happened?"
"He apologized."
"Isn't that good?"
"NO! NOT AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!" Natsuo yelled. Tensie sighed and pulled natsuo to his chest. They sat in silence as Natsuo calmed down. "He doesn't deserve to be happy! Especially with Hawks!" 'He won't be with dad for long...'
