When Taehyung wakes up the next day , his head is uncomfortably heavy . He wakes up , cold hand palming his forehead and walks over to the kitchen to get himself a cup of morning coffee .
Sunlight is streaming in through the glass windows , lighting the entire room in it's yellow glow and taehyung is stunned to see a cheery boy with bunny ears hopping around and wriggling his butt to whatever tune he is humming . His fluffy ears flop as he flips the pancake - taehyung tries to suppress the coo and fails miserably . Jungkook whips around in a jolt , a warm shade of pink crawling up his neck and he meets the older's gaze.
"Oh..h-hey hyung".
"Hey". Taehyung replies , stepping in to the kitchen. He must be looking pretty dumb right now - puffy face , red rimmed eyes , tousled hair.......he just got out of bed afterall .
"So...you finally shifted back huh"? Taehyung tries not to sound awkward .
"Uhm yes . I just woke up like this and...I thought I could make breakfast" . Jungkook says , fiddling with his fingers .
Is this a dream ? Sure feels like it . Just that it's been going for a good few months and is exceptionally vivid . But there's no way there's a beautiful boy like jungkook is in his kitchen , happily cooking him breakfast while the said boy is dressed in a pink apron which matches the colour of his apple cheeks.
He smiles gently at jungkook - who's looking at him with big , doe eyes . "You know you don't have to do all these right ? There's no need for you to repay me . Really . Just knowing you're happy and healthy is more than enough".
Jungkook stares at him for a moment longer before tears glisten in his eyes and averts his face , bunny ears coming to hide his vulnerability. Taehyung though , is shoked . He stands unmoving , hand mid - air as he processes what to do .
Shit . Why did he blurt that out !
Did he just overwhelm jungkook ? Did he make it awkward when jungkook had already to leave with jimin ? Well done kim taehyung !
"Tae" . Jungkook whimpers and as if some unknown force had taken control over his body , taehyung reaches over to jungkook and pulls him into a hug. The boy tucks his head into the older's ear and wraps his arms around his mid section.
"You're so kind to me". Jungkook laughs tearfully , before wiping up his face and looking at Taehyung with those eyes that hold a million galaxies in them , the same eyes that leave him breathless .
"I think I'm starting to fall for a human".
Luckily for the him , taehyung thinks he might be falling in love too .
