They were sat on Harry's sofa. Louis' head was nestled under his arm and they were under a blanket watching some crappy romance film that had Louis enraptured.
Harry looked at the boy next to him. How had they got here? After inviting Louis in for tea they had talked and realised that they had a lot in common. From then on Louis had come knocking and Harry had let him in. He wasn't quite sure why but the smiling, bouncy, excitable boy had some sort of effect on him that made him incapable of rational thought.
They were just friends though. Close friends-extremely close- but that was it. However, it was remarkable how, in the space if two weeks, they had become a huge part of each others lives. It just kinda happened.
Suddenly Louis shifted and the blanket fell a bit, revealing a nasty looking bruise just underneath Louis' collarbone. "Lou, what's that?" Harry pointed to the bruise. Louis quickly pulled up the neck of his T-shirt, covering the bruise. "Oh, nothing. I must've bumped into something. Anyhoo, did you like the movie? It was awesome!" Harry frowned at the change of subject but didn't pursue it. They fell into conversation about the film and Louis' suspicious behaviour was pushed to the back of his mind.
