Imagine
Enemies to Lovers

And there he goes, walking across the hallway, with his posey of friends. To be honest, I had no idea why all the girls were all over him, he was arrogant, selfish, just every turn off ever, unless you were me.

Okay, as much as I hated him, I loved him too, and I honestly hated myself for it. But I kept it to myself, I already had enough drama in my life anyway. I guess I could tell you the story, I mean, I don't have any time to do anything anyway.

It all started in Year Nine (I'm British so I think Year Nine for us is eighth grade in America or wherever y'all use the grade system) I was hanging out with some friends and I looked over to the younger students, and there he was, picking a fight with a year seven, from what I went through that year, I knew the year sevens were not going to stand a chance. And as much as I hated the little shits, I hated him more.

"Hey Hwang!" I shouted as I walked up to him and his group. He turned around and rolled his eyes at me. "What are you doing?"

"Teaching then a lesson." I laughed at his response, before grabbing the younger boy.

"What lesson? To not talk bad about you, because I'm pretty sure, half the people in this school do," I smirked at him.

"You've got a bit of a nerve, haven't you," He looked at me up and down. "Miss Y/n, is it?"

"What if I do?" I said, stepping closer. I looked at my friend who was watching from behind him, she was shaking her head. "What are you gonna do about it?" He was speechless, not knowing what to do. "That's what I thought sport." Clicking my tongue, I walked off, back to my friends. After that, I could always feel Hyunjin's stare on me.

And back to the present, once again, I could feel Hyunjin's glare, but it was different, it was more hungry than anger. I knew it was probably the change I made over the summer, in fact, half the people who despised me before wanted to hang out.

"Hey!" Jennie said walking up to me. "I'm hosting a party tomorrow when my parents are away for the night, you wanna come?" I nodded. "Great! I'll see you tomorrow Y/n!" I knew where she lived as I had been to a few of her parties before, by a few, I mean one... because that's the only one she had invited me too.

I put on the new outfit I got the other day before leaving the house and driving to the party, my brother was going to cover for me, saying I was at a friends house, studying. From the end of the street, I could heard the music. I walked into the party, and I felt a few eyes on me as I tried to find Jennie and Lisa.

"Hey girl! You made it!" Jennie smiled as she walked up to me. "Someone's been asking about you." She pointed my gaze towards Hyunjin. I laughed.

"Yeah I doubt it," I chuckled.

"I'm serious," She said. We walked to get a drink, she started talking to Jimin.

"Nice party right?" His voice came from behind me, I turned around to him.

"Yeah it is."

"I don't think I've seen you before, what's your name?" He asked, I raised my eyebrows, did I really look that different.

"Y/n..."

"Wait, as in weird, nerdy Y/n?" He laughed. I nodded, making his facial expression drop.

"Yeah, I am, and you're, what, the guy who was a complete asshole to me for the past three years?" I said.

"You haven't changed."

"And neither have you," I said before walking up.

"Y/n, I'm sorry," Hyunjin said, running after me.

"You know how horrible you were to me, so don't even try," I said, walking out into the balcony.

"You know, I do, I was awful," Hyunjin said, following me. I hummed as I leaned on the edge. "I shouldn't have been that rude." He didn't look at me, just past me, where the reflection of the moon shined on the river.

"I still hate you," I mumbled, just loud enough for him to hear.

"I wouldn't blame you, I was being a little bitch," Hyunjin spoke, edging towards me, my eyes went wide, that was the least of the things I expected to hear from him. "I mean, I didn't know how to act around you..."

"What do you mean? You flirted with literally every girl there."

"Yeah but, as cliché as it sounds, they're not you," Hyunjin continued. "I mean, you're the only person who would stand up to me, who would stop me from doing the reckless things, and I don't know why, but when I think of the perfect person I wanna be with, I think of you." I looked down, clenching my jaw. I was scared of what was about to happen, I knew he had done this before, but I hadn't. He leaned in towards me. I leaned backwards, causing him to hesitate. "What's wrong?"

"How don't I know you don't just wanna get in bed with me?"

"Because I would never do anything like that to you," He said, he trapped me in between himself and the balcony fence, I felt my face heat up. "You've not kissed anyone before have you?" I shook my head causing him to chuckle. "Y/n..." He tilted my face up when he placed his finger under my chin, he kissed me quick. My face went red. "There."

"Um," I stuttered.

"What?" He smiled, I got on my tip toes and connected his lips with mine, I could tell that he was shocked by my sudden action. I pulled away, needing a bit of air. "For someone who just had their first kiss, you're not bad." I laughed a little before resting my head on his chest before he put my hair in a ponytail.

"And this, is what you should keep your hair in more often," He smiled, taking the scrunchy off my wrist and tying my hair with it, I looked up at him confusedly. "What, you think I don't tie up my hair?" I laughed at his response.
