I walked into my class and took my seat at the back.
Tola, who sits beside me greeted me.
Just then Erica Lane, Jared Andrews girlfriend walked into the class with her puppets, Dianne and Dorathy.
I shook my head they are all fake. Fake bodies, fake evertything, everything about them screamed 'fake'.
My dad, Jared's dad, Teni's dad and Romeo's dad are all best friends.
My dad and Jared's dad happen to be the richest of all of them. The are all business associates. Whenever the business of one of them is not blossoming, they rally round that person an assist the person.

Hey Coker" she sneered at me

Hey Lane, what do you want?" I said not looking up from my book

I want to sit where you are sitting" she said
Oh yeah" her puppets added

Go and bring caterpillar to carry her from there now, so that you can sit there" Lanre, the class clown said and everyone started laughing

Shut up, you scumbag. You look like trash" Erica said, eyeing him

I see how much worried you are that am better than you" Lanre said

I won't banter words with you" she said to Lanre then turned to face me again
You know, you should be happy that I'm talking to you. You should be hailing me even" she said and flipped her hair

With respect, lets welcome the chief ambassador of penury, doom and retardation. The frontline runner of madness and stagnation." I shot at her and the whole class gasped. I looked over Erica's shoulder and I saw Jared Andrews looking at me with amusement, dancing in his eyes.

Just go sit down, baby" Jared muttered to Erica as he walked past us.

Miss Tolu, our Economics teacher entered.

See the way they are making noise" Miss Tolu screamed
that woman is stressing her lungs.

"Class greet" the class prefect muttered hesitantly
Good morning ma'am" we all chorused standing up.
Meet miss Tolu, the single mother who hates all the girls in our class but has a crazy obsession with the boys.

Sit down Moor" she said sternly then she suddenly smiled
Morning Jared, how are you doing?" Miss Tolu asked, smiling
Seriously?!!!

I'm fine ma'am" he muttered

Lets get to today's topic"
Today's topic is demand and supply. Who can tell me what demand is?"

Your economics teacher is a slut, I swear. She actually hit on me today" Romeo said and I smiled while Teni started laughing.

Why didn't you accept, I thought you were a playboy" I smiled at him

I don't fuck teachers" he said as a matter of factly
We're currently in the dinning.
Its not called cafertaria in out school, its called 'dinning'.

You young boys are not supposed to be fucking annybody now" I said facing the both of them

We're sixteen, Oreoluwa" Teni said shrugging his shoulders

Yes Teniola, but you are too young for all of these" I said

Yes mum" they both chorused and I gasped

Do I look so old that you had to mistake me for your mums?" I ssaid faking hurt

Yeah, I guess so" Romeo said and I was about to hit them when someone cleared his throat.
We all looked up to see Jared, his girlfriend and her puppets.

Hey man" Teni said and they started doing their bro handshakes

Teni, Romeo and Jared are friends, I mean best of friends. I'm the only one who seems not to get along with Jared.
They all settled down comfortably.

Hey mister Andrews, I think you have to vacate this table cause I can't seem to be able to bear the stench emitting from your girlfriend" I said and pursed my lips. Teni and Romeo gave me the look. The disapproval kind of look.

What?!!!" Erica shrieked. She raised her hand to slap me........

.............. Don't you dare" Jared's cold and low voice suddenly said. His voice was dangerously low.

What?!!, she just talked trash about me" she practically purred like a cat.
Jared kissed her lips and gave her a small smile

You should go now with your girls, I'll see tou later" Jared said.
I gave her a victorious smile and she glared at me as she left.

You are rude" Jared said simply to me and I rolled my eyes

Oh please, as if your excuse of a girlfriend is any better" I said calmly.
The corner of his mouth lifted into a small smile.

No word that comes out of your mouth is polite" Jared said with his stupid but beautiful smile

Oh shut it already, I don't want to trade words with you" I said and he was about to reply when Teni cut in.

You guys shouldn't be talking to each other like we're not here. Right buddy?" Teni said

Right" Romeo answered

Is this how Coker is always?" Jared said with amusement.
I don't even know what he is amused about.

Believe me, this side of her that you are seeing is still very soft. By the time you know the real her, you'll faint" Romeo said and threw me a wink as they all started laughing.
