It was October of 2020, Halloween and I'm not sure how to put this into ways I can describe, but I'll try. I got a Nintendo switch and Pokémon: sword and shield for a gift in this pandemic. I was having fun as my starter Pokémon was a Scorbunny, I did however want to get my favorite Pokémon of this generation, Wooloo. I went on in route 1, yet I couldn't find any of em, I tried to search for one for about 5 minutes and finally found one. However, it kept running away from me. I managed to corner it between the levels barriers. There was no battle music and I could've sworn I heard a static like noise coming from my switch. I then decided it to dock it as I then heard breathing coming from my tv. I figured it was a glitch or my smart tv hooked up to my roommates phone. I caught it after a few hits and then this image appeared

I jumped a bit back on my bed as it just stood there on my screen

I jumped a bit back on my bed as it just stood there on my screen. Breathing heavily and with a distorted feminine voice it said "You have nice lungs...." I thought my copy was a spoof, but it was licensed by Nintendo. I then hit A and it was like a new game entirely. I was put in a first-person perspective and the graphics looked like a PSX from the mid 90's as I was in some dimly lit school that was flooded. I had no action buttons, only walking buttons. I heard breathing and thought I walked away from it, only to find that Wooloo looking at me in the dimly lit hallway. I turned around and looked for another way, I then heard water splashing after I had stopped followed by the breathing. It was following me.  I decided to go into a classroom and I heard the locking of a door. I tried to exit, but it just chuckled. It then uttered to me "How does it feel to be trapped? Against your will? Now you know how your Pokémon feel." I looked out the window in the classroom and it was also there. It said "I'm everywhere, in your game, outside, in your head, it's cute that you think you can escape me, but I'm here with you now forever." I then shut off the switch and decided to take a shower. After which, I heard breathing and saw it behind me in the reflection of my mirror with a shit-eating-grin on its face. Too this day it grows it's victims across the world. If you hear breathing, turn off your switch and sell your Pokémon game to a less knowing person.
