        "What the hell?" I said as we walked back into the Great Hall.

At the Gryffindor table, Harry and Hermione were trying to restrain Ron from punching Malfoy. I started toward the group and and saw Malfoy raise his wand at Harry's back. Before I could even open my mouth to warn Harry, Malfoy disappeared, and in his place was a scared, little, white ferret, that started to bounce up and down. Professor Moody had just turned  Malfoy into a ferret. Cedric and I glanced at each other and started laughing.

"I'll see you later Rose. Keep your head up," he told me as he made his way to the Hufflepuff table.

By the time I had walked over to the commotion, Professor McGonnagal had made Moody transfigure malfoy back into a person. I was sure I would never be able to associate Malfoy with anything other than a ferret ever again.

"Isn't Mad-Eye amazing," Fred said as he walked up next to me. George was talking to Ron and Harry about Moody's DADA class.

"I'll admit, I didn't realize how much I needed to see Draco as a ferret until it actually happened, but I don;t know the guy, I'll decide after I see him teach. Besides, no one could be better that Professor Lupin," I said.

"I'll agree to disagree," Fred said. "Are good, Rose?"

I looked at him for a moment, before replying,"Not yet." I let him sweat a moment before adding,"But we will be," and shot him a smile.

        As we ate breakfast, Harry and Ron excitedly discussed our upcoming DADA class today, and I nervously awaited the morning post. I still hadn't heard back from my dad yet. As the owls drifted in, a tawny owl dropped of a letter that landed on my empty plate.

Only it wasn't from my Dad. The loopy handwriting on the front belonged to Professor Dumbledore. The note asked for me to go to Dumbledore's office after dinner tonight. I was deep in thought when I realized everyone was staring at me.

"Are you ready?" Hermione asked again. "We'll be late."

"Yeah, Let's go," I said, realizing it was time to head to Defense Against the Dark Arts.

                              ==================================================

        "Well that was intense," I said as we filed out of Professor Moody's class. "Neville, are you all right?" I asked. He looked pale, and terrified.

He couldn't say anything, he just looked at us with wide eyes as we heard Professor Moody call him back into the class room. Neville went back into the class room, and I had never seen him look more helpless.

"Poor Neville," I said. "Moody is scary. I don't get a good vibe."

"Dumbledore trusts him," Harry said.

"I know," I replied. "My dad trusts him too."

"So what's the problem?" Harry asked.

"I don't know," I said, and for some reason, that made us all laugh.

                             ==================================================

        "I don't wanna go," I said, staring at my still half-full plate.

"It's just Dumbledore," Ron said, plowing into his mashed potatoes.

"I know, but I wrote to my Dad. I'm just worried something happened to him," I confessed.
