Ross POV:
Me and Laura we're sitting in front of the lake on the grass. I pull her to my lap and she lays her head on my chest.
"When was the last time your parents ate popcorn?" She pops up the question randomly.
"Your that bored arent you."
"Yup." She says popping the P.
"You can't be bored to say I love you correct." I said. Then she smiles. "I love you." i said.
"Love you more." She said. We we're tired enough to fall asleep on the ground.
~Later in the late afternoon~
We we're in the backyard.
"BET YOU FIVE DOLLARS ROSS CAN'T DO A FLIP!" Rocky said to Ratliff.
"I BET HE CAN!" Ratliff said.
"NOPE! LETS SEE!" Rocky said and turned to me.
"Uh... You wan't me to do a flip?" i said.
"YEP!" They said in unsion. I look back at Laura whos sitting by the window watching us. She waved and smiled.
I was about to do a flip. Then I began going high in the air and landed on my feet.
"HAH! I WIN!" Ratliff said. Rocky groaned and gave him 5 bucks. I chuckled and their foolishness and wen't inside.
"Hey i'm back." i said sitting next to her.
"Your brothers are a handful." she says.
"Yup...Lets go to the beach! c'mon!" I suggest we nod and start walking outside into my car.
~At the beach~
We we're walking around playing around the empty beach. It was sunset too.
"Remember that time when Rocky shaved his head by mistake and he was halfway bald? HAH!" I laughed. We nod in agreement. But out of nowhere we heard crying.
"Uh.. Ross, is it me, or I hear crying?" Laura said. We froze to listen. It was crying from a little girl. We rushed to her and found her crying her eyes out on the sand. She was dirty blonde, wearing a pink shirt that said cute, blue jeans, and pink converse.
"Hey! Why are you crying?" Laura asked the little girl.
"I'm L-Lost.." She stutters.
"Aw. Who we're you with?" I ask bending to her size.
"My mommy."
"What did she look like?" Laura asks.
"She had red hair and green eyes. She was wearing a blue shirt and jeans." the little girl stutterd. I scooped her up and me and Laura try to look for her mom, and we found her.
"OH MY GOSH THANK YOU SO MUCH!" The woman says scooping her daughter up.
"We never got her name." Laura says.
"Abigail." the little girl says. I smile at the name.
"See you guys around." I said as me and Laura walked back to my house.
"So.." i said. then laura phone rang.
"Hold on." Laura picked up the phone and wen't beside a tree to have a private conversation.
