From Earth to Remnant

Somewhere in Earth

The usual night where all staff that are available from convenient store exit in order to go home and earn their well deserved rest after the hard work. As for me, the storekeeper stay behind to close the and lock the shutter door after our store manager finish his job.

The manager said his farewell to me after I lock the shutter door. He using a motorcycle as a means of transportation to go to work.

I set off to home which is near the store with only 30 minutes walks. The cold wind blew on my face and along with refreshing smell of air make me feel relaxed. I noticed several of my father's friend hanging out near their home. They look like a middle aged men. Well, in this neighborhood, it is just their usual day.

After I arrived home, my youngest brother already sleeping after watching TV, while the middle brother are playing games at his room. I smiled as I go to the kitchen to cook an omolette, my favourite food as a dinner for this day.  After that, I take bath and lying down at my mattress. I'm actually don't need a bed at all, just a simple mattress and pillow are good enough for me.

It is already 11.00 p.m and it is early for me to sleep. I decided to play some games, watch YouTube, watching anime and surfing anything that has piqued my interest. RWBY, Fairy Tail and isekai anime, and manga, including Chinese and Koreans are among my interest as well.

After did some of those activities to pass time, I look at the phone's watch and it is already 12.30 a.m. Perhaps I will continue for another time then. I switched off the light to get some sleep.

Little did I know that sleep is going to be my last time here on Earth....

Somewhere in Remnant

A bright light shining on my face as I was still in sleep manage to open my eyes. It was a bit hard to open my eyes since I was still sleep that time. But I heard a sound of bird chirping, flowing of water, and various other sound related to jungle makes my eyes open up a lot.

Za'im: "Where am I ? Why did I wake up in a jungle in middle of nowhere ? As far as I know I am sleep in my room !"

I was shocked at a my situation here. I still remember that I was sleeping in my room. Then, I woke up inside a jungle in an unknown locations. It is easy to get lost inside a jungle. You may end up dead for either starvation or by carnivorous animal like tiger and venomous and poisonous flora and fauna.

Getting over my shocked, I begin to check my phone and the clock started that it is 9.00 a.m and to my surprise, not only I am being transferred, even my mattress on the ground and my phone next to my pillow here being here with me as well.

Za'im: "Dear God, whoever take me here must have a real talent in stealth or maybe some form of supernatural forces."

I checking up my phone and for some reason battery appears to have infinity symbol in a battery life. There is even A WIFI symbol next to battery life symbol. It is really strange for me.

Za'im: "Really ? An internet in a middle of jungle ? Seems ridiculous for me."

Anyway I open a Google map to pinpoint my location and to get to the nearest place for help to go home. The map itself shows nothing but a single cleared road. Not a really made of tar, but a simply a road that look like a rural area kind of road.

As I open a global version of map, it seems that map is very familiar for me. But when I press a strange symbol and it stated Mistral, pressing next symbol it said Vale, Vacuo and Atlas. I was shocked, screwed and panic.

Shocked because I am in the whole different Universe. Screwed because this world full of creature and that is looking to kill me, same with humans and faunuses. Panic because I have no idea what to do with these kind of situation.

Za'im: "No way...., it means that I'm in RWBY world ? A  whole different Universe altogether !?"

My blood froze during that day. I have no  idea how is it even possible for me to be teleported into these place. What about my parent and my brother ? Does they know that I am actually gone to the different world ? How will they react of my dissapearence ? I am sure they are going to be panic and call the police to search for me.

The most important thing is that about my future in this place. How am I supposed to survive in these world filled with dangerous creature called Grimm and rogue Huntsman and Huntresses.

Which side am I going to pick, Salem or Ozpin ? Both sides have their own agenda to fulfilled. I did not even have an Aura and Semblance to protect me. I barely even exercised at all other than working as a storekeeper at convenience store.

My brain filled with worries and thoughts. So many things happened a single day that I have no idea how to even begin. The fact that I am here in Mistral means that this place is full of criminals and their organisations. The moment they saw my weakness, they will strike and take all my stuff and I am full of weakness right now.

I need every advantage that I can get, otherwise my life will be short in this world.

I have to say my farewell to all my friends and family that have been good to me in my lifetime before I get here. I was unable to repay their deeds. That makes me regret that I have no chance to pay them now.

This is going to be a long day.

Za'im: "Great, my current feelings aside, where exactly am I ?"

???: "You are currently in a jungle near Kuchinasi of Mistral and 1 kilometer near the destroyed settlement."

Za'im:"Huh ?"
