Red is the main color in my line of work. It's one of the only colors I see nowadays. From the gowns at the parties, to the blood of my victims, it's all red.  It drips from my hands, and stains my clothes. It splatters my skin and matts my hair into knots. It  leaves me smelling of rust and too much perfume. Red controls my life.

Enough of that depressing shit. My name is Hayze. That's what people call me, at least. My real name is Alexandria Roberts. I prefer Hayze. At the age of seventeen, I'm the youngest member of the Elite Assassins of the World. We are not the guys -and gals- you want to mess with. The twelve of us are cold-hearted, blood-thirsty, trained killers. We're the most wanted people on the planet, and let me tell you, it is good to be bad.

I have everything I could possibly need. In this castle, I'm safe. No force on earth can get in here. Not even those filthy assassins, the E.A.W. I'd like to see them try. My father has many enemies. Most of them are stronger, or have a bigger influence, but I'm not my father. Once I become Queen, that shit stops. I'd rather die than let my country be overrun by criminals, or anyone for that matter.

I may be small, and I might be dainty. I'll give them that. But I can protect my country. No. I will protect my country. It doesn't matter how many times they try to break me down, or force me to kneel. A queen never kneels. My name is Princess Arabella Rossé, and I will not stand down. I am going to win any fight. I'll fight until I physically can't move any longer. That isn't a threat. It's a fucking promise.
