WARNING SEXUAL SCENES AHEAD

|Arabella|

The stars look lovely tonight. So many constellations twinkle in the darkness sky as I gaze up at them in wonder. The woods beside the castle are filled with the chirping of crickets and the rustling of animals in the unruly shrubs. I let out a breath in the cold September air and breathe in the scent of pine needles. My mind is clear for once. But I know it won't last.

Engagement? Me? I can't marry Clarence. He's a great man, and an amazing friend, but I'm not ready to marry. How does my father expect me to have kids with somebody I don't love, or at all? I don't even love Clarence like that. He's one of my closest friends, sure, but I could never marry him. He's just too...serious.I

I know he would treat me right, but I could never be...happy with him. These thoughts haunt me tonight as I make my way out of the woods and back to my room in the castle. I can barely slip off my shoes and out of my clothes before I collapse into my bed and fall into a fitful sleep.

~~~
I awake to the smell of bacon and eggs. I sit up and run a hand through my firey red hair. "Good morning Kenzie."
"Good morning ma'am. I brought you your breakfast, and your gown for lunch with Sir Clarence." She smiles and I nod.
"Very well. I'm not that hungry this morning. Just get me dressed please." Kenzie sighed at the disdain in my voice.
"If I may, your highness, Sir Clarence is a dashing young man, with many great attributes. He'll make a fine husband for you, even though this marriage is arranged. And you'll make a fine Queen one day." I smile at her, blushing, but don't respond. I get out of the bed and walk into the bathroom with my maid hot on my tail. I begin to undress and I step into the tub. I beckon for her to come closer. She does as she's told and I look her up and down.
"Take off your clothes, Kenzie." She blushes and looks down, fidgeting with her dress.
"Ma'am? I'm not sure what your asking." She looks up at me in curiosity.
"I want you to get in here with me so I can fuck you." I state the words with a slight blush on my cheeks. I hold out my arms and gesture for her to come closer. Her face grows red and a smile breaks out on her face. She unties her dress and pulls it off of her body. I watch hungrily. Once she's completely naked I grab her face and kiss her softly. Her hands twist into my hair and I pull her closer to me by her waist.
~~~

A knock rebounds in the door to my room and I open it to a nervous looking Clarence. I clear my throat. "Hi."

He smiles a bit "Hey. Can I...come in?" I step to the side and leave the doorway open for him to enter . He shuffles through the door and looks around the spacious bed chamber.

"To what do I owe this surprise?" I close the door gently and run a hand through my hair.

"Can't I visit my future wife?" My gaze drops to the floor at his words, and he steps closer to me, grabbing my hand. "I'm sorry...I was trying to make a joke."

"It's not that, Clar. I just...I don't love you. I don't think I ever will, not the way they want me to, at least."

"That's okay. I don't want to marry you either. So let's leave it as a political thing. Still friends?" He holds out his hand for a high five.

"The best of friends." I smile and slap his hand.

Luca and I sit across from our client. His dark hair is swept into a braid and his blue eyes travel over me hungrily. This isn't new to me, seeing as most of the people I work for are some level of psychotic. His gaze flicks over my chest again and he licks his lips. I snap my fingers in front of his face. "My eyes are up here."

He smirks. "Nice to meet you too, Miss Roberts. I assume Mr. Greene has told you my terms?" I look over at Luca.

"No. What are your terms?" I cross my arms over my chest and glare at him.

"First, the job has to be completed within a month from today," he pauses, for effect, I suppose. "Second, you have to effectively dismember and kill the target. I want this to be a clear message to King Rossé." My eyes widen at the name.

"Who's the target then?"

A small frown forms on his lips and his eyebrows furrow. "Princess Arabella Rossé, his oldest daughter, and their to the throne." I feel my eyes widen at the statement.

"Are you trying to start a fucking war, here? That's the craziest thing I've ever heard!" Luca speaks in hushed tones, trying to conceal his anger. I place a hand on his arm in a comforting manner.

I look at the client. "How much are you offering for this job?"

He smirks a bit. "Three million for Arabella, and five hundred thousand for every additional royal." I silently add up the total. Holy shit. $3,450,000.

"That's a very hefty price for a bunch of brats." I scratch my head thoughtfully. "Luca, what do you think?" I glance at him slightly. He just nods, indicating his desire for the job. I sigh. "We'll do this, on one condition. I get to kill them how I want, no strings attached."

"That seems fair. Looks like we have a deal, then." I hold out a hand to shake and he takes it. After we shake hands I stand up and pull Luca with me. Once we're out of the club and down the street, I stop him.

"You didn't tell me we had to kill the princess of the most secure country in the world. Luca, what were you fucking thinking?"

"Revenge, Hayze. Cold hearted, blood thirsty revenge." And with that he walks away. I stand there for a moment, confused at his words, before I walk back to my apartment  to pack my things. I guess it's time I visit home.
