Aiden was quietly reading his thin delicate fingers Turing the page as his hazel eyes glazing over the words he read in his head aiden finally felt peace it's quiet just the way he liked it.

" are you still reading?" A high pitched voice scoffed as they snatched the book out of the small boys hand aiden looked up with a tiny glare seeing it was his sister.

" what do you want Cynthia?" Aiden clenched his fist together his fingernails digging in his palms as he glared.

" mom said to go downstairs it's dinner time" she said as she handed aiden his book back aiden reached his hand out to grab just for it to get snatched away again.

" Cynthia give it back your so fucking annoying get out!" Aiden moved the blankets that were covering his legs and stood up grabbing his book back "aiden don't talk to your sister like that!" Their mother's voice could be heard from downstairs.

Cynthia smirked as she went out of the room aiden stomped his foot and pouted as he thought it was so unfair she came in and messed with me first aiden threw his book on his bed and went to the staircase jumping a few stairs as he went into the kitchen and saw that the table was already set his mom dad and sister was sitting at the table waiting on him.

Aiden sighed as he sat down at the table as the food started to get passed around at least they had his favorite steak, broccoli with a side of Mac and cheese.

" so Cynthia how was your day today?" My mother asked with a smile " it was perfect mom I hit 7 million on tiktok and 5 million on Instagram!" She squealed which sounded like nails. being scrapped on a chalk board.

" I'm so proud of you honey congratulations" my father smiled but soon it faded when he saw me looking down messing with my broccoli on my plate he elbowed my arm knocking it off the dinner table as he glared at me.

" say congrats to your sister aiden you should be proud I know we are your sister his making herself known!" He said joyfully as he smiled but it soon faded again once he saw that I was still looking down not saying anything.

Aiden flinched when his dad slammed his hand on the table " god aiden your such a disappointment " his dad shook his head annoyed

Aiden felt his eyes water " I'm glad for you Cynthia congrats excuse me I'm not hungry" aiden sniffled as he ran up to his room shutting and locking the door as he cried aiden laid on his bed him clutching his stuffed animals on his bed as his little soft cries and wet tears stained his bed sheets

Aiden sniffled as he finally stop crying after an hour or two aiden hates family dinner he hated his stupid parents and his stupid bitch of a sister he wish he could just disappear

Aiden was tired of it this had been going on for forever it needed to stop it all started when Aiden was in the 5th grade why did they treat him this way he thought I didn't even do anything wrong

Aiden smiled as he took a picture with his sister holding up the peace sign as he smiled brightly his white pearly teeth gleaming in the sunlight as they stood in front of their school students walking by and not caring to look over

" it's your first day of 5th grade you excited sweetheart!" His mom gave him a hug " yeah I am I can't wait to make new friends!" Aiden said jumping up and down happily

" want me to walk you in sweetheart?!" His mother kissed his forehead " no I'm good mommy I'll see you later!" He smiled as he grabbed his backpack and ran into school

" aiden really a fight do you wanna make this family look bad!" His mother snarled at her crying son

" he called me skittles and he pushed me !" Aiden said as tears streamed down his face.

" that's just a cute little nickname aiden gosh why can't you be more like your sister!"

Aiden heart broke as he was in time out for two days staring at the blank wall his stomach growling in hunger as he hasn't ate in over those two days

" mommy I'm hungry can I come out now?" Aiden started to cry as his stomach started to hurt from not eating " please my stomach hurts!" He begged his mother rolled her eyes and grabbed aiden's arm yanking aiden in the kitchen

" here!" She said as she made him a peanut butter sandwich with almonds on the side aiden started to stare at it not even thinking of picking it up " why aren't you eating?" She crossed her arms

" mommy I can't eat it, it has tree nuts remember I'm allergic I can't eat this and the almond dust is all over the sandwich" aiden pushed the plate back as he was deathly allergic to almonds even if he consumed one his throat would close up he would start itching having shortness of breath start to feel nauseous and most likely throw up his body rejecting the item he digested and Anaphylaxis which can cause potential harm/ life threatening reactions that causes the body to go into shock and can impair breathing

" your wasting food aiden eat it!" His mom pushed the plate back in front of him as aiden shook his head " no the doctor said that I'm deathly allergic to almonds it's even written on a sticky not on the fridge on it's on all my doctors notes" aiden didn't wanna die over some stupid sandwich

" fine you'll have to wait till dinner then" she threw the plate away and made aiden go to his room

Aiden felt shivers crawl down his back as he remembered the time when he was younger aiden just wanted to get away but he didn't have anywhere to go aiden laid back down his eyes closing as he let sleep take over him
