"Would you like to date me Taehyung-ssi?"

After the phrase that had been said, silence errupted within the place, at the garden near the front of the school premises, the female that just confessed lowers her head, preparing herself for the incoming answer from the male that he asked, while the male, stared at her with his face frowning because of confusion.

"I-I'm sorry- what?" Taehyung asked to his friend named Joy, who just confessed to him.

Their relationship was utterly platonic, if you'd ask Taehyung, he even treats Joy as her younger sister, to the point that he was being overprotective at her and he would take care of her just like walking him from home to school and vise versa, buying her lunch or gifts or helping her in some of the homeworks, these things just happens seldomly but he didn't even thought of his friend eventually liking him, he thought was just being naturally nice, since he didn't even had any relationships before.

As for Joy, she thought that he just had fallen for the male, since it's hard to find males that was very nice as Taehyung, and she had mistaken that he would maybe like her back since they were acting like a couple, in her perspective.

"I-I mean- honestly since I first saw you I got interested at you, so I befriend you, at first I was not expecting you to even notice me but then here, we are friends, close friends as I must say, and then when you started being nice to me I just comtinued to like you more and... I can't keep it anymore... I was just preventing myself because I don't want our current relationship to be ruined, but now I'm taking the risk." Joy looked up at him while saying those words non-stop, exposing her feelings since they first met.

Taehyung felt his guts, he didn't know if he felt guilty or pity, because he thought that it was his fault, that things would be complicated like this. Now he needs to choose. To lose a friend or to have a girlfriend?

"That must be hard for you, I'm sorry." That are the words that escaped on his lips. Mainly because imagining having feelings for your friend and deciding to just keep it for the sake of your friendship must be hard and hurtful.

And then Taehyung thought 'I should just try, right?' since Joy is not a bad catch, she's nice, pretty and smart. Many guys like her and him being friends with her would be a benefit since they were friends, they knew each other, but then, he's still not sure of what to decide since he's still new to this kind of things.

"I'm sorry again but... Can I have more time to think? I'll message you my answer before this day ends, is that okay?" Taehyung asked nicely to his friend, and she nodded as a reply, recieving a thank you and goodbye from the male and they separated ways.

Taehyung was walking on the way to his home, mind processing what happened earlier with his friend and what the heck would he do to this situation. He looks so frustrated and tired just by thinking, when an arm around his shoulder interrupted his thoughts.

"Why so serious Taehyung-ssi?" The newly-came male said while grinning to Taehyung, noticing the frown on the male's face made him wonder too.

"Oh, it's nothing Jungkook, I'm just tired. " Taehyung answered back tiredly.

Jungkook can feel the gloomy vibe of his childhood friend, so he knew that it is not just a simple tiredness, he even checked Taehyung's temperature but it's normal. So extra but he was just worried. Then he got an idea on what to do.

"You know what, let's eat in our house, tell me what you wanna eat and we're going to order it, then let us go to my room, either we talk or you just rest or sleep, is that a deal?" Jungkook offered, and then he recieved a nod and a small smile from Taehyung, which resulted for Jungkook to chuckle and then they continued to walk, this time to the direction of Jungkook's home.
