There's Always A Buzzkill

I woke up in the street not knowing why I was there. The last thing I had remembered doing was going into a warehouse with Julian, Carter and Derik. But why?

-Elly POV-

Wake up! Wake up! It's time to go!! "What are you talking about" said Daniel. You know you idiot, come on! " I don't know what you mean" he said again. I was a little surprised because he wasn't the type of man to forget something. Did you really forget? "Of course I didn't!" He said. I gave him a huge kiss and ran down stairs to a huge surprise. There were roses everywhere, chocolate and beautiful decorations.

-Daniels POV-

Hey sweetheart, you really didn't think I would forget do you? "Thank you!" She shouted. I gave her a huge hug and a kiss and whispered "Happy Birthday"

As hours went by and day turned to night more and more people turned up at the party. I went out to buy some beer for everyone. I was with Julian and Eric, two of my closest friends. Now guys DONT OVER DRINK, ITLL MAKE YOU GO NUTS. I shouted.

-Eric's POV-

I went into the gas station and asked for some beer but as I went to make my way back I hadn't realized that Jul and Dan were gone. I looked around for them but they were nowhere to be found. I called a taxi and arrived back to the party. I made my way through the crowd and arrived to Elly. I began shouting so she could hear me past all this music. Can we talk! "Sure!" She shouted.

We made our way to one of the rooms and I asked if she had seen Daniel or Julian? She responded with a simple no but she seemed worried. I comfort her as she began to scream " He would do this to me on my birthday! I thought I could change him but NO! I just wish I could just give up on him!" Than why don't you? "Because I love him" she responded quietly as tears ran down her face. I looked her in the eyes and softly kiss her. I wouldn't do that to you.

-Julian POV-

As Eric grabbed the beer I tapped Daniel and asked him if that was the store that he wanted to buy the engagement ring at. He quickly responded with "Yeah, it is". Let's go than. " What about Eric?" I'll text him where we are!

We got in the car and parked it across the street. We began to go into the store and a Wedding Planner quickly greeted us and said " HELLO! I'm Melissa, I do weddings for all couples! No matter their sexuality!" We quickly look at her and clear things up. She apologized and we continued walking. I watched as Daniel pointed at the ring that he always wanted for Elly and said "That's the ring I want her to show her parents, and her friends... That's the one I want her to wear for the rest of her life." He quickly went to go buy it and checked the price. "Nighty-Eight- Thousand, I'll take it!"

As we made our way out of the store we ran into some traffic. It took quite a while to get home. By the time we were around the corner everything went black.

We woke in the hospital. Aching screaming. Daniel was dead. I saw the doctors cover his head with a blanket and check the time for his death certificate. They looked over at me and whispered " He doesn't have much time, did you find any ID or anything at all? No said the other doctor"

-Elly POV-

I threw my phone against a wall while feeling guilty for kissing Eric. But I was also angry at Daniel. The last message I sent him was "Its over"

-Daniels POV-

As we get closer and closer to home I receive a message from Elly. As I was grabbing my phone I stopped looking ahead and everything went black.

I'm never really going to understand why I ended up where I was after that. But one things for sure. I was different afterwards. I was staring at myself lay there dead.
