After being in the huddle, the team dispersed to go to their various family members, me included.
I went up in the stands to see Isla talking to Jennie but when she saw me, she came running to hug me.
Reminds me of when we were kids honestly.
"You did sooo well Y/N oh my gosh. I thought I was watching an Olympian run," My sister stated all giggly and whatnot.
I gave her a wide smile, "Thank you sis but I try," Then I took a glimpse behind her and saw Jennie looking at us with a slight longing in her eyes.
Hm.
I felt a nudge on my side and looked at Isla.
"Go talk to her," She mouthed before walking away.
I glanced back at Jennie who was sitting down and on her phone then I looked around.
No one was really around and I don't see any cameras so I should talk to her.
With this new found courage, I went to sit down next to her, gaining her attention.
"Hey," I said, resting my feet on the chair in front of me.
"Hello Y/N," Jennie answered, putting her phone in her purse, "You want something?"
I lightly grinned, shaking my head, "I don't want anything but I wanted to ask how you're enjoying yourself so far at the tournament?"
She thought about her answer for a while, unconsciously knowing she scooted over closer to me, "It's been entertaining for the most part. Minus the ceremony part,"
I chuckled, agreeing with her, "It was pretty boring,"
Her perfume smells really good. Is that...Chanel?
Shaking that thought out of my head, I got a full glimpse of Jennie taking off her shades and looking at me.

Outwardly, I maintained my composure but inside, she made my heart race. Jennie was just so beautiful. I-

"Y/N?" Jennie started to say, bringing me back to reality, "Your face went serious. Is everything okay?"
I nodded my head, slowly moving to stand up, "I should get going. Your person is about to show up," I answered, giving her a small smile, "I'll see you later."
Then I moved to walk out of the stands, seeing her wave at me from her peripheral vision and on queue, Kai showed up to escort Jennie away.
