Love Doesn't have to End

Chapter 3

During the afternoon me and the girls went to the park. I needed to  

get my mind off of what happened yesterday. I was pushing Darcy and  

Kathy on the swings and they laughed happily."Elena?!" Someone said  

from behind me.I turned to find Louis standing there looking at me"L-  

Louis?" I said.."Elena???" He asked. 

"What are you doing here.." I asked awkwardly."I just came for a walk  

to see if things wouldn't be that awkward.But seemed like it got more  

awkward.." He said looking towards the ground. I chuckled."How has  

Harry been?" I asked mumbling"Hes never really been in his best mood.  

But it's kind of awkward speaking to his ex girl friend" "I know I  

know!And i wanna fix things with him so..can you please give me his  

number?"I said.He stands there thinking"Um.Alright I'll give you his  

number" Louis gives me the number as I type it in my contact list.I  

thank Louis for helping me and just when I thought things were gonna  

be over I hear Darcys voice call out to me saying"Mommy who are you  

talking to" "Oh this is Louis a friend of Daddys" I said  

awkwardly"Hello girls!" Louis said cheekily. Louis and I started  

playing with the girls. It seemed like he was getting along with them  

well. Like he was their father....that was one of the things I loved  

about Louis. He always seemed like a good father figure and was more  

than willing to spend time with the girls and it never seemed to  

bother him. So we spent the rest of the day playing with the girls.  

The girls seemed to be very fond of him as they did get along with  

eachother very well. I got to say, this was probably the most fun the  

girls have had in a while. But the fun came to an end. 

"Well, it's getting late and I'm afraid I have to go back to my flat.  

But I should see you guys sooner or later." Immediately, the girls  

started whining, "Nooooo! Don't leave us! Please stay! We don't want  

you to go!" I could tell that by the look on Louis' face that he felt  

pretty sorry for all of a sudden having to leave them behind. "Don't  

worry girls," said Louis. "But guess what? You guys will get to see  

daddy some time later! How does that sound?" 

The girls eyes lit up. "Really?" the both of them asked with  

excitement. "Yep." said Louis. Even though the girls seemed ecstatic  

about the whole thing, I was extremely anxious about it. "Well, I'll  

see you ladies soon, alright?" said Louis. 

"Okay!" the girls exclaimed. He pulled both of them in for a hug. They  

seemed to give him pretty tight hugs. After what alomst seemed like a  

minute, Louis spoke. 

"Alright, girls, let me say bye to your mother now, please." Louis  

said, chuckling. 

Eventually the girls let go of him and he stood tall and opened his  

arms out to me. 

"Alright, love, I'll see you soon." he says to me as I hug him back.  

He whispers in my ear. 

"I hope everything works out again between you and Harry." 

"Me too." I whisper back to him in his ear. 

"You don't deserve to be treated like that." And with that, he places  

a gentle kiss on my cheek while still embrassing me. 

"Thank you" I say, hugging him tighter. I loved how he was being so  

supportive of my family and I. Hopefully, Harry will turn out the same  

way. Louis pulls away slowly." Bye girls". 

"Bye, Louis!" we all said in unison. 

A few seconds later, I lose sight of him. 

"Come on girls, were going back home
