Daisuke's thoughts
Haru's thoughts

No One's POV

The pair decided to head to the hotel that Daisuke reserved. Walking in, Haru was immediately dazed by their surroundings. Everything was lavish as hell. Expensive paintings and Greek sculptures. Chandeliers sparkled from the light, making it look like sparkling champagne.

They walked up to the receptionist counter and were greeted by a smiling receptionist, “Hello, welcome! The name please?” “Kambe Daisuke.” The receptionist searched through the list of names in the computer, “Ok, your room number is 81, here are your room keys.” She handed a black and gold room card to both Daisuke and Haru. An older looking butler came up and bowed to them, guiding them to the elevator.

Once they got into the elevator, the butler pressed the button that went to their floor. It was silent, just the dinging of the elevator each time it went up a floor. Daisuke and Haru stood next to each other awkwardly.

Haru stood stiff since he felt out of place from all the extravagant things surrounding him. Once they reached their floor, they walked out and Haru thanked the butler. They walked towards their room and Daisuke swiped the card in the lock and opened the door, while he gestured Haru to go inside first.

The room’s walls were an ivory color, the floor had marble tiles, some expensive paintings that Haru knew nothing of, but knew were worth more than his whole rent were hung, a chandelier hung from the ceiling, a gigantic window was on the far side of the room, near the window was a circular Brazilian Rosewood table that had 2 red velvet chairs scooted in, and a couple of drawers were placed across from the beds with a large flat screen TV in between the 2 drawers.

Haru, not wanting to bother thinking about the price for everything, went over to the bed closest to the entrance and flopped on top of it, groaning into the soft white bedsheets from how tired he was and forgetting about the fact that he still had the couple's shirt on.

Daisuke walked over to one of the large drawers and pulled out a maroon dress shirt and jet-black slacks and headed to the bathroom to change.

Haru had fallen asleep once Daisuke was out of the bathroom. He was sprawled on the bed with his face squished against the pillow he was hugging. Daisuke sighed and pulled the covers over him and turned off the lights to let him continue sleeping.

Daisuke went to the other bed and sat on the edge of it, and he thought that now was a good time to ask Suzue about the couple’s shirts she gave him.

He decided to text Suzue instead of calling her since he didn’t want to wake up the sleeping inspector. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and started texting her.

Text between Daisuke and Suzue:

Daisuke: Suzue, why did you hand me couple’s shirts for me and Kato to wear?

Suzue: I have no idea what you’re talking about Daisuke-sama

Daisuke: Stop fooling around, Kato wasn’t happy about it

Suzue: Does that mean you are?

Daisuke: That doesn’t matter, what matters is that Kato wasn’t happy, and I don’t know what to do about it

Suzue: I apologize Daisuke-sama. Please tell him that it was my idea and that it wasn’t your fault

Daisuke: I don’t think he would listen if I told him that

Suzue: Ah, I see...

He lied down on the bed and had his hand sightly clenched set atop his forehead. Frustrated and unsure of what to do, he set up a timer and decided to take a nap to pass the time.
