Chen was furious when he was forced to let Lloyd continue. I have a feeling he truly does know we all teamed up... well except for what's her face with the green hair. (I swear I'll remember her name at some point) She's the only one who doesn't want to join since Camille is no longer here. Well, her and that shadow guy.

It was still late at night so all of us were waiting to be dismissed and go back to sleep because everyone is exhausted after Thunderblade.
Chen and Clouse left a little bit ago, but doesn't mean we get to leave.

Garmadon is here as well, I guess I didn't notice him watching the fight from the stands. Lloyd's filling him in on how we're trying to form an alliance amongst the fighters. He seems to like the idea, but I'm only half listening. My heads laying on Lloyd's shoulder and I'm fighting to stay awake.

"I'm very proud of you all." He says with a hint of pride.

Only thing is, I'm wondering if everyone if fine working with Lloyd, Kai and Jay, but not with me. I'm wondering how many fighters are still leery of me.

After what feels like forever, Clouse comes back into the arena, gaining everyone's attention. Probably hoping we'll get to go back to bed, "Master Chen has arranged for a special impromptu battle tonight. It should be quite a show as these 2 were not supposed to fight. But after much insistence, he decided to give them what they wanted."

"Oh shit! I asked one time. ONE TIME! But I guess, what's her face, really meant it when she said she was going to ask if we could fight."

I snap my head around and lock eyes with the green haired girl, who already has her eyes set on me. We glare at each other and I guess it's enough to gain the other fighter's attention. I'm sure the tension between us was stifling. I cross my arms as I maintain holding her gaze.

"It seems you already know." Clouse says with some amusement, "the battle will be Tox Master of Poison versus, Darkness."

I finally break eye contact and groan as I look up at the ceiling with an eye roll. Then I redirect my attention to Clouse. "Seriously?!" I demand

He puts his hand over his mouth, "oops. Is that not how you want to be introduced? Forgive me." He says sarcastically, causing me to grit my teeth, especially when I hear snickering from, Tox.

"See? I said I'd learn her name!"

"Well then, how about, Greatest Evil?"

I barely succeed in suppressing a huffy breath. However, I don't succeed in suppressing myself in time before I snap, "I have no problem kicking your ass too."

Yeah, I know, I shouldn't threaten the second in command here, but I couldn't help it.

Lloyd grabs onto my arm, like he's afraid I'm gonna jump up and beat the shit out of Clouse... not saying I won't, but that's besides the point.

"Calm down." Lloyd whispers to me

"Why does it seem like Lloyd spends all his time telling me to calm down?"

He didn't seem too phased by it though, "save it for the tournament. But fine, have it your way. Tox, Master of Poison versus, Lindsey, Master of Darkness. Better?"

"Much, thank you." I say with fake sweetness. I know I was mad at Kai earlier (still kinda am) but even when I was that mad, I didn't feel like I was gonna totally snap. I realize I'm holding my hands in excruciatingly tight fists. White knuckles, nails digging into my palm, to keep me from letting any dark energy seep out.

Not that it's evil anymore, but I'd don't want to waist any energy nor do I want anyone to think I'm that horrible at controlling my own powers.

"Now, if you will all follow me, Master Chen is waiting." Clouse says and turns out the door.
