Campfire Night

Walking hand in hand, Cruso and Chaos made their way to the fire pit. It was inside a large coliseum, that was in the middle of the camp. Cruso wiggled through the crowd, pulling Chaos behind him. He found a cosy little nook beside the fire. 

"Mmm wonderful" Chaos hummed as he pulled Cruso in his lap. Cruso smiled. 

"Oh you'll love what's after this, we go stargazing," Chaos told him as campers sang and passed out dinner plates. Merriment was all around. 

After dinner and smores, they walked up a large hill in the west of the camp. It was dark already and speckled stars looked like flicked paint on a black canvas. It was beautiful. They settled in a nice grassy spot and Cruso laid on Chaos's chest, warm and steady. 

For about an hour, they sat their peacefully. Chaos sat up and Cruso leaned against a lean tree. Suddenly, coming up the hill was a bright blonde patch of hair. Jasper. Chaos stood up and small flames licked up his hair. They didn't burn him. Jasper looked furious, and he was. 

"CHAOS YOU-"

*VIOLENCE WARNING, TRIGGER WARNING* 

He came up and punched Chaos square in the jaw. Cruso got up but Chaos held an arm over him to tell him to sit or back off. This was his fight. 

Jasper kept punching at him, but Chaos didn't hit back. Why? Cruso wondered. He was wondering until Chaos finally took his first hit. A hard left hook to Jasper's nose. A sickening crack erupted from Jasper's nose. Cruso flinched. Chaos kept coming until both of them were one the ground, punching and throwing curses. Both boys were covered in blood, either theirs or the others. 

Cruso stood horrified at the event. Multiple times he yelled for them to stop but they wouldn't. The fight was finally over when Jasper managed to get out from Chaos's grip. He wormed away and stood seething towards a blood covered Chaos. 

"I loved you" he yelled. 

"Then don't go off and CHEAT on me!" Chaos yelled back. The flames were roaring in his hair. 

"I didn't cheat!! She forced me into it!!" Jasper yelled desperately. 

"Jasper. I'm over you. I am done with you" Chaos said in a dangerous low tone. 

Jasper backed up, knowing what was best for him.

"I hope you burn in Tartrus" he growled as he walked off, a clearly broken nose. 

Cruso immediately hugged Chaos, carressing his face and wiping the blood off his knuckles. Chaos's flames had yet to die out. His body was shaking with adenraline, his eyes fierce. 

"Baby it's over" Cruso begged from him. "Snap out of it" he begged more. 

Chaos heard his voice. His eyes immediately softened. He embraced Cruso in a tight bear hug before letting go. They fell asleep under the tree.
